Update:
Even stranger is that episode 3 of Canaan and Highschool Of The Dead are gone with the episode that was suppose taken down at midnight. This is weird.

Of course I’m starting to get extremely frustrated with Mediacom right now. Everything except the DVR functions are working. And according to the person I talked to the box needs a special signal for the DVR function to work so that I can watch what’s already been recorded, and since I DVR everything and watch it later this is a huge problem for me.
I’m still with Mediacom and I’m still living in the 51012 zip.

I have yet to receive my December 23 updates.
Usually they show up by midnight.
So now Im not only waiting for my Dec. 9 updates,
I’m also now waiting for my Dec. 23 updates.
This is really starting to get to me.
Ive posted, and contacted my cable company time after time,
and I still get nothing.
This is totally bogus.
What is the problem? I dont mean to sound rude,
I’m just wondering if its the cable company or the people who upload
the content, or if its anime network itself?
I guess there is really no point in making the Dec. 9 updates available,
because theyre just going to expire anyway.
But even if there was some kind of major outage that kept the Dec. 9 updates
from posting, shouldnt the problem be fixed by now?
I received my Dec. 16 updates, so what is the holdup now?
I hate to sound rude, I’m just really frustrated.
It seems like someone is reading these posts, but nothing gets done.
And thats why I need to know if it is my provider who is causing the
problems–so that I can drop these guys and go buy a stupid dish.
Please, Please, dont fail me now.

Actually could be good for anyone having cable company related problems as most companies have a section. I’m not sure why I never thought to post this link before.

Just wanted to drop a quick note. I called my cable provider this morning
and was told they would look into it, and call me back. Thats what they
usually say, but never do. This time they did. They looked at their
VOD down at the center, and had the exact same episodes that I did (whats left over
from DEC. 2, and the DEC. 16 updates. He told me he’d call me back again,
and I got his call just a minute ago. He said that “all of the content that
they have received from Anime Network has been updated.” “In order to receive
the DEC. 9 and DEC. 23 updates, TAN would have to send them the content, and
then have one of their(Brighthouse) technicians post them up.” He added “Probably
due to the holiday season, you wont get any updates until maybe Monday DEC 27 or TUEsday DEC 28.” “Everything that Brighthouse has received has been updated, and as soon
as they receive the content, it will be posted”.
I might also mention that this was the first out of probably thirty technicians
that actually called back when they said they would, and also acted like he cared.
I dont know what the deal is.
I’ll try to take a look at the link that ShawnMerrow provided(thank you by the way),
maybe I can get an idea as to what the heck is going on there.
Can you tell me who subcontracts the VOD stuff for Brighthouse? Maybe they havent gotten a clue yet?

The problem lies with the outsourced company that does VOD for the cable company.
We have to keep complaining to the provider until they finally say that “this issue has been escalated to the Network Engineers”.
That is progress. If the problem affects all Brighthouse users, then I would expect TAN to “pitch” the programs again.
