AoharuXMachinegun #6 hasn’t gone away; BTOOOM! #9 and When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace #3 haven’t come.
As for Girls und Panzer…well, AN surprised me. I expected them to ship #9, Last Ditch Effort, to the On Demand Portal as “10”, as per the listings on Watch Online–which is what they’ve been doing up until now. Instead, they shipped it to both Cutting Edge and On Demand as “9”. Since now there’s no mismatch of numbers, there was no overwrite of Cutting Edge’s number, and the rest of my prediction is now invalid. What happens next depends on how they bundle the rest of the episodes.
Incidentally, even though they sent #9 / Last Ditch Effort to On Demand as “9”, they still sent it with the title and blurb of “9” on Watch Online. So it appears on the list as “We’re Fighting Pravda!”, with the blurb for We’re Fighting Pravda! as opposed to the proper title and blurb for #9/Last Ditch Effort!, etc. As for the AN website schedule…it has the right numbers according to the actual episodes (i.e., #5 is “5”, #6 is “6”, and so on), but the titles and descriptions are the ones from the Watch Online list–so they’re all off by one starting with #6, and say the series ends with “12”/“Introductions 2!”
I suppose I should have come up with different clever ways to the indicate the actual episode, the actual episode number, the episode title according to Cutting Edge, the episode number according to Cutting Edge, the episode title according to On Demand, the episode number according to On Demand, the episode title according to Watch Online, the episode number according to Watch Online, the episode title according to the website schedule, and the episode number according to the website schedule…but that way lies rump of skunk and madness.
(A rump of skunk, er, no, 15 points Extra Credit, for identifying the source I’m roughly paraphrasing here.)
Thanks!
