These “test” packages aren’t the regular shows and won’t be part of your package, they are merely sent to see if they arrive correctly. In other words, they’re sending them and have to wait for someone for DirecTV to let them know if they arrived in the correct way. This probably won’t be a quick process, unfortunately.
The initial shows are set up months in advance and the packages are sent to the Providers a few weeks ahead. I’m not talking about the VOD schedule here on AN, that’s done separately. It’s apparently a p.i.t.a. to contend with, and they’re looking at revamping it.
Both of these, apparently, require the appropriate person(s) to take the 15-30 seconds required to perform the task. Finding that person is the hard part (sorry if the cartoon violates any standards)…

Yup. I spent 35 years as a programmer/analyst/IT guy for a steel company. Worked directly with the users for most of that time. Management eventually put in a “help desk” to keep users from contacting us directly, intended to reduce interruptions in what we were “supposed” to be doing. Mostly didn’t work as they’d hoped…

(0) Not precisely relevant to AN, but still anime-related: just in case someone is trying to watch My Hero Academia on TWC/Spectrum’s Cutting Edge or On Demand…they’ve merged episodes #24 and #26 together on Cutting Edge–or episodes Season 2/#11 and Season 2/#13 if you go in via the On Demand Portal or by Search. On Cutting Edge, it looks like you’ve got #26 but no #24; on On Demand, it looks like you’ve got #11 but no #13. So whoever bundled the Adult Swim episodes clearly got the internal metadata crosswise, just like the AN bundles sometimes do. Be that as it may, in both cases, the two episodes really are there, just fused together, and my old untangling kludges from way back when still work and let you access both episodes.
I won’t bore you guys by re-posting the kludges for the umpteenth time…but if anybody needs them, give me a holler here in the forum and I will. Post them, that is–alas, my boring you will just kind of happen whether I post the kludges or not…
