People were very much on the wrong side of this news. That deep dark hole sure is dark.
Well here we go again. Our stock market plunged 611 points on the day and may get worse.

The UK will be fine on its own, itâs one of the few countries that was keeping the EU afloat, and it was smart enough to not adopt the Euro.
Humorously, now Scotland is ruing that it didnât vote for independence during its earlier referendum.

That was fast.
Iâm not sure how smooth this will be as I hear that Theresa May isnât much of a Brexiter and that battle is still going on (though she picked some Brexiters for key positions) but Iâm a bit surprised at how fast they were able to transition, and that Cameron actually stepped down.
It was fast. Teresa was the only remaining candidate left, so it ended up being her. This becomes the second time in Britianâs history to have a woman PM.
She was part of the âremainâ camp but she explicitly said that out means out, so in the midst of political chaos, sheâll have some very difficult decisions to make as they leave the EU.
Sometimes itâs best to have a person who doesnât want to do a particular job be the one that does the work. Hopefully PM May will handle the Brexit with greater caution and diligence than might have otherwise been the case.

###Chinaâs nuclear power ambitions sailing into troubled waters
July 31, 2016 at 15:00 JST / The Associated Press / The Asahi Shimbun
Itâs interesting that the Chinese are borrowing our nuclear technology to build reactors willy-nilly when we arenât building new plants, or even expanding old ones, despite needing the power.
Maybe instead of putting a nuclear reactor onto an oil rig itâd be wiser to find a way to have it pipe up natural gas and run itself off of that?
Alternatively, maybe Duterte, ROC, Abe and the next POTUS can team up to nip this in the bud by pushing China back into its own waters?

Rage toward a flamingo? That is not only just sad, but a new low. So tragic.
