Is there much difference between the DVDs and Bluray kickstarter release?

The dub is the main difference. Itā€™s based of the Jp Blu-ray release which was a mixed bag video wise. Jp at some point removed some of the gags that were based from copyrighted stuff in Japan. Since this from that source it also does not have them as far as I know. Most people selling right now are like just breaking even from the eBay sales.

I hope CR gives up that license at some point. I f**king hate that company.

My guess is they may not have it but for a few more years if that. Donā€™t know exactly how long Nozomiā€™s license was for and it took almost 4 years for the Kickstarter to get out. Unless they had to renegotiate which is why it took so long. I believe itā€™s another anniversary of the show in Japan this or next. Iā€™m very curious if they plan on releasing another set of they let Crunchyroll even do a standard here because of the fear of reverse importation.

I am waiting on the artbook to ship and people donā€™t even have a ship notice. Seems like CR is only letting them ship stuff when they are not doing CR store shipping.

They are going to have to do a recall/replacement. All Japanese audio options are not good. 5.1 sounds like if you had a computer or stereo system fake convert to 5.1. Original mono mix is more than likely just the 5.1 downmixed. They had almost 4 years to get this right. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Funimation/Crunchyroll cant do a proper DragonBall Z release so its no wonder they failed to get this out right.

Hello Backers!

It has come to our attention that some customers may have received incorrectly labeled discs as part of the Dirty Pair Features Blu-ray. Some of the disc labels are reversed on the Affair of Nolandia and Flight 005 Conspiracy discs*.*

Also, the Japanese 5.1 audio on episode 24 on some of the Dirty Pair TV Series Blu-rays may have an issue and instead play the audio from episode 23.

If you have encountered either of these issues, we are working to get replacement discs to you as soon as we can. You wonā€™t need to do anything as we will send replacements out for everyone. So even if you havenā€™t had the time to watch your discs yet or if you havenā€™t received yours yet, weā€™re still going to send replacements to you. Next week, we will share more information on timing of these replacement discs as soon as we have confirmation from our suppliers.
