Fate Series (Type Moon)

OK Unlimited Budget Works 1st half is over. 3 Double sized episodes to boot. So technically a 16 episode 1st half.

It’s a pretty decent adaptation so far and it broke right where I thought it would.

Same here, since I was thinking it would break right on my wallet.

Even though I’m not buying the exorbitantly priced import, some of my bros are and my wallet is still feeling the pain vicariously; What could that be called, anime couvade syndrome?

Aniplex USA Outlines Imported Fate/stay night: UBW Blu-ray Box II

posted on 2015-05-23 15:00 EDT

At its Animazement panel on Saturday, anime distributor Aniplex of America outlined its release of Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Blu-ray Disc Box II. It will import the box from Japan and release the set in North America on October 7. The set will ship simultaneously in Japan and North America.

Preorders will begin in North, Central, and South America on Tuesday. Similar to the first set, the second set’s suggested retail price is US$498.98, but the official FatestaynightUSA.com website is listing the set for US$398.98.

The release will include the television anime’s second 13-episode season with English subtitles on five Blu-ray Discs. In addition to the anime, the set includes a collection of promotional videos and commercials, as well as the textless opening and ending animation sequences.

The set will bundle a soundtrack CD, a drama CD, and a “Deluxe Booklet” featuring staff interviews, production materials, and more content.

People who buy the set through Aniplex of America’s official retailers will receive an English translation booklet for the deluxe booklet. Fans who purchase the box set through FatestaynightUSA.com will also receive a wall scroll with Takeuchi’s illustration while supplies last.

Bleah…I can wait for the dub…if that.

Besides, if I really wanna sees it dubbed, I’ll just pop in Sentai’s BD of the movie: short, tight, and to the point.
