Henneko ~ The Hentai Prince & The Stony Cat / HENNEKO Hentai Ōji to Warawanai Neko

Ep. 05

I’m rather enjoying this one.
The genral concept is a bit funky, but on the whole it’s actually rather fun.

And that OP, man is it addictive!

Episode 6 is live at ANO

Yeah [Fantastic Future] really gets stuck in your head. The general concept is easy, it’s the classic “Beware of what you wish for” meme.

HD isn’t up yet.

Episode 9 –

Ponta tells Yoto that his little sister has run away. There was some momentary confusion over Emi there for a minute, but it gets cleared up. Yaji-san is the one that has run away. Yoto is asked to help find her. He wants to ask Azusa for help, but she’s still avoiding him. However, he manages to catch her this time. Yoto wants to make up with her, but Azusa doesn’t want him near her. Yoto suggests that they go back to the way they used to be and tries to explain about Tsukushi. They shake hands to officially make up. Now, Yoto can ask for Azusa’s help with the rabbit.
*
Nice to see that the school still looks like a piece of Italy. Emi and Tsukiko have a rivalry going on and decide to compete in sports. But Emi is still in it for fun and really isn’t interested in competing. As a result of her swimming contest with Tsukiko, Emi cancels her wish to make everyone go to the pool. Since all the girls are in swimsuits, this kind of backfires when all the swimsuits disappear, leaving a bunch of naked girls! Yoto makes a comment about Tsukiko getting “bigger” and ends up with a bucket over his head. LOL
*
Yoto figures out that once Emi is satisfied with her wishes, she will cancel them. Yoto he asks her that if she made Yaji-san disappear, to please cancel that one first, since Ponta is so worried. But Emi had nothing to do with that and didn’t even know that Yaji-san was missing. Yoto begins to remember who Emi is, but is still fuzzy on the details. Emi extracts a promise of a play date and then she will give up.
*
Ponta calls Yoto to tell him that Azusa found Yaji-san and Emi returned her to him. Ponta remembers Emi and how close she was to Yoto when they were kids. So, why can’t Yoto remember? And why does Emi keep calling Yoto a pumpkin? When Yoto offers to help Emi, she gets mad at him and cancels all her wishes. Yoto tries to explain about the Stony Cat and how the wishes affect people. He tells her that even without wishes, the important things don’t change.
*
But Emi breaks apart at that. If the important things don’t change, then how did Yoto forget his promise to her? Emi runs away and on the way to school, Yoto really tries hard to remember. Tsukiko meets up with him and again warns him about Emi. But he isn’t too concerned since she canceled all her wishes. However, the school still looks like Italy!
*
Tsukushi later tells Yoto that she will be going to Italy. Someone saw their school and wants to be a sister school, so Tsukushi is off to be an exchange student! I wonder if Tsukiko made another wish – one to keep her sister away from Yoto. But Tsukushi still isn’t the one responsible for the school looking the way it does. Emi appears up on a tower with no entrance. Azusa helps Yoto with a secret way in so he can talk to Emi.
*
Emi brings up the past and how Yoto has forgotten everything, including his promise to her. But Emi realizes that he’s forgotten other things as well. He has a flash of the girl in the mask. And they aren’t alone – Azusa is there as well. She brings up a story of a Prince and a sparrow and how the sparrow always helped everyone but always went unnoticed by everyone, including the Prince. Yoto soon realizes that this is not the Azusa he knows and that he’s speaking to the Cat God.
*
So, this was Azusa’s wish. This was the new her she wished for. Yoto says Azusa is being used, but the Cat God insists he’s only helping and if Azusa canceled her wish, he’d be gone. It turns out that Yoto wished for Emi to be there and for the school to look like Italy. Emi was his tool to make these wishes come true. He’s also ultimately responsible for Tsukushi becoming a foreign exchange student. But he remembers none of this. The Cat God tells him that it was many years ago that he made his wish about Tsukushi. He can cancel his wish, but Emi will disappear as well.
*
Emi tells the Cat God to go away and he takes it as a wish. He will take Azusa with him. However, Yoto can still cancel the wish. What will he do? Will he lose Azusa or Emi? Yoto pulls away from Emi and walks to the cat God. He cancels his wish. But then he grabs Azusa and kisses her! Twice! On the day of the sports festival, it turns out that Emi is still there and things seem back to normal with Azusa. But I wonder what else will go wrong.

Episode 10 –

The school is only half back to normal and the big Stony Cat has vanished from the storehouse. Now, Tsukiko is the one avoiding Yoto, and he’s worried. On top of all this, Azusa is being overly clingy. Mai steps in to help with that and she really made me laugh! Especially when Yoto imitated her! And Mai refers to Azusa as Yoto’s girlfriend. That made Azusa happy, but I don’t think Yoto was all that pleased. Anyway, it got rid of Azusa for a bit. Yoto is also concerned about Tsukushi – she hasn’t been showing up to practice lately and it sounds like she still wants to go to Italy. However, she’d like to see Mai and Yoto get along better. Her game suggestion was pretty funny too.
*
Tsukiko is waiting for Yoto at his house and he hurries off home. I see Ponta lost his rabbit again too, if that’s it sitting on the park bench. When Yoto gets to his house, he finds Tsukiko in his bedroom, stabbing Barbara with a pair of scissors! She talks about her new plan – the “Nonchalantly Try to get Together project”. When he finally enters his room, Tsukiko is gone, the stuffing and the scissors are on the floor, and Barbara is back on the bed. However, Yoto notices a foot sticking out of Barbara, but pretends he doesn’t see it. Instead, he pretends he’s looking for Tsukiko. He approaches the bed and blows on Tsukiko’s foot. Then Yoto tickles it, pretending all the while that Barbara must be alive. He keeps up the tickling until Tsukiko gives up. I guess her “NTT” plan didn’t quite work. LOL
*
Tsukiko has been cleaning his room and Yoto is worried about all the boxes marked for trash. I guess most of his hentai collection is in jeopardy! When he takes a closer look, all the stuff with large breasts is trash and he gets to keep the stuff with small breasts – but he doesn’t see the connection! LOL Tsukiko forgives him for his relationship with Azusa and mentions knowing him the longest. Yoto is confused by her saying that she’s known him the longest and she seems surprised at that. She flips through his photo album and sees the picture of Ponta and Emi and says something about it being “before her”. Then she goes home. Yoto isn’t the only one left scratching his head over that! I wonder what she meant as well.
*
Yoto sees an envelope sticking out of Barbara and when he picks it up, something falls out – two tickets to Rome! Yoto reads the letter and discovers that Tsukiko and Tsukushi are invited to join their grandfather in Italy. Going home on the bus, Tsukiko mentions that Yoto has forgotten. She was the girl in the mask that had met Yoto a while back in the playground. Sadly, she discovered that she wasn’t the one that had known Yoto the longest. It was Emi. That was what Tsukiko had meant when she said “before her”.
*
Emi is mad at Yoto. His mind is elsewhere and he isn’t fun! In a huff, Emi sends him home. Yoto heads to Tsukiko’s house, but she isn’t there. He returns the letter to Tsukushi and she takes it. But when she tries to close the door on him, Yoto tells her that he’s the younger brother. That gains him entrance! LOL But it looks like Tsukushi has marriage on her mind, much to Yoto’s panic. He finally gets her to realize that he isn’t there to marry her, much to her disappointment. And there she was, all ready to get married in a bathing suit! LOL
*
Tsukushi explains about the letter from her grandfather, but tells Yoto that she’s thinking of saying no. She and her sister have too many memories in their house that they don’t want to give up. As she talks, Yoto has another of his strange flashbacks. Stranger still is the fact that Tsukushi was told that her mother left her when she was three, but she remembers that she was six. Yoto wonders if she’s mistaken, but I wonder if the Stony Cat and another wish are involved.
*
Yoto suggests that Tsukushi find some proof, but she’s already been doing that. However, she can only find photos from when Tsukiko was a year old, but nothing after that with their mother. So, Tsukushi wants to look through Yoto’s photos. She thinks they may have met when they were children – in fact, she’s sure of it, but Tsukushi questions why Yoto doesn’t remember. Tsukiko suddenly appears behind him and scares the heck out of him. She thinks they may have met when they were kids as well. They search the storehouse for a long time, but all they find is one out of focus picture of their mother.
*
Yoto tries to encourage the girls, but it’s time for Tsukiko to make dinner and time for Yoto to go home. Azusa comes upon them at the bus stop and asks if they are on a date. Yoto only gives her a half answer. Azusa’s mother is an editor of a magazine and Azusa thinks he should model for it. Tsukiko is pretty much ignored during their conversation and when the bus comes, she gets on. Yoto almost misses and hurriedly says a good bye to Azusa.
*
On the bus, Tsukiko tells Yoto that she can’t show her emotions, but she still acts on them. She tells Yoto that she gets jealous when he talks to Azusa, but she doesn’t want Yoto to dislike her because of it. She tells Yoto her true nature, but he disagrees with her. She also tells Yoto that she can’t even begin to compete with Azusa and Yoto disagrees with her again. Tsukiko would like to find a picture of the past to prove that she’s known him the longest which is one thing she would have over the others. Again, Yoto can’t remember the past or her being in it.
*
Now, they had gotten off the bus and ended up in the playground. Tsukiko mentions going back to the past to find out the truth for herself. A voice says that’s a great wish! Here we go again! The rabbit is on top of the monkey bars and it’s the Cat God! She sends Tsukiko back to the past and bids Yoto farewell. When he realizes what’s happening, he grabs Tsukiko’s hand and is taken with her. I’m not sure what will happen, but I hope Yoto finds his memories and I hope Tsukiko finds her answers.

rattrap with cheese and i was the mouse that took the bait to watch this and got NOTHING in return. hate shows that end like this!

Episode 11 –

Yoto and Tsukiko are in the playground again, but the Cat God is gone, and when they look around, things seem different. They begin to walk and a group of kids run by. Yoto seems to recognize them and Tsukiko calls his attention to a billboard showing the date as 2003! They realize that Tsukiko’s wish to return to the past has been granted! But now what? Tsukiko seems to be taking things calmly, but Yoto goes into a panic. He’s worried about having eleven kids by the time they catch up to themselves in the future!
*
Tsukiko says that they can cancel the wish anytime, so they should relax and take their time. Tsukiko suggests that they go to her mother’s workplace. They accidently meet a little Azusa on the bus and Yoto is enamored of her, much to Tsukiko’s annoyance. Once again, Yoto just proves himself a Hentai-san! LOL Once they reach the preschool, Yoto meets his six year old self. And even at that age, Yoto was a pervert!
However, Tsukiko is so attracted to him that she sticks his head under her shirt. I guess she wants him to get the bug out of her navel again! LOL Funnier still is that Tsukiko uses the same excuse as Yoto did – to “admire those who have not yet blossomed”. Yoto just watches in shock as Tsukiko tells the child to never change. I guess she’s trying to cure him of his pervertedness. Not going to happen! LOL
*
Yoto is there to meet Tsukiko’s mother - “Auntie Tsukasa” - and she soon comes out to scold him for calling her “Auntie”. Little Yoto invites himself to her house for dinner and, hopefully, to sleep over as well. Tsukiko and big Yoto hear her say that she hates kids and they are both stunned that this woman is so completely different from what they imagined. Tsukasa sends Yoto home, but then pulls him back and says that he can come to her house, for “just one night”. She’s really rather softhearted.
*
Tsukiko steps forward to ask Tsukasa a question and makes up a name for herself and Yoto, but then goes into an explanation of how they are siblings, but only step-siblings. Tsukasa doesn’t really care, so Tsukiko tries to ask her question. However, before she can get it out, little Yoto invites them to dinner and Tsukasa uninvites them. Faced with a sad little boy, Tsukasa relents – “just this once”. The house looks the same, but messy. Yoto concludes that Tsukasa doesn’t like housework, and she must not like to cook either. Instant noodles and a raw egg!
*
Little Yoto invites them to spend the night, saying that Tsukasa get lonely all by herself. Once again, Tsukasa protests and then relents, and Tsukiko and Yoto get to stay. But if she’s all alone, then where are Tsukushi and Tsukiko and their father? Tsukasa goes to bed, leaving them a strange breakfast for the morning. Tsukiko had thought her a better mother, but it seems that she isn’t a mother at all as little Yoto once again tells them that Tsukasa lives alone. This surprises Yoto and Tsukiko. If Tsukasa doesn’t have children then what are Tsukiko and Tsukushi?
*
Later, in the bath Yoto considers the situation and decides that something is wrong. He doesn’t remember ever having met Tsukasa when he was younger. After the bath, he finds little Yoto guarding Tsukiko’s room, but enters anyway to find her trying on underwear. Little Yoto follows him into the room and Yoto tosses him out, slamming the door behind him. Claiming to be protecting her honor, Yoto stays in the room with Tsukiko and ends up insulting her. He wakes up to find himself out in the hallway! LOL
*
Yoto sees a giant rat that turns out to be Tsukasa in a costume, which she calls her pajamas. That’s what she sleeps in? LOL Yoto asks her if she has any family. She tells him that there used to be more people in the house in the past, and that she even had two daughters, but the family was torn apart by her husband’s death. Her daughters now live in Italy with her husband’s parents, but it sounds like she’s waiting for them to come home. She sends Yoto to bed and enters another room. Coughing, Tsukasa takes a bunch of pills and I wonder if she’s dying. I also wonder what she’s sewing.
*
The next morning, Tsukasa isn’t up yet and little Yoto mentions that it’s the day that Tsukasa measures his height. He shows them notches in the wooden doorframe, but Yoto remembers Tsukushi showing him those same notches and telling him that they were her measurements. Yoto wonders if her memories were wrong. A beeping car horn sends Yoto outside and Tsukiko to wake Tsukasa. Little Yoto tells him that the “guests” are here. When Yoto looks at the guest, it’s a little Tsukiko!
*
Tsukushi soon walks over and sends Tsukiko back to the car. She demands to see their mother, wanting to know why she broke her promise. When Yoto questions this, he’s told that Tsukasa was supposed to meet them at the hotel to discuss a serious matter. Tsukushi is under the impression that Tsukasa doesn’t care about them, but Yoto tries to tell her otherwise. Tsukushi has her own opinions and won’t change them, so little Yoto calls her spoiled. LOL And she grew up the same way!
*
When she starts to throw gravel at the two boys, Yoto asks if her mother didn’t teach her better, but Tsukushi says that she has no mother. She tells Yoto that the woman in the house threw her and her sister away and has no right to call herself a mother. Tsukushi keeps throwing the gravel at them until she hits something and freezes. Tsukasa has appeared and now has blood running from her forehead. Ignoring it, Tsukasa walks over to Tsukushi and tries to touch her, but the girl slaps her mother’s hand away. Crying, Tsukushi says that she doesn’t know her and runs back to the car.
*
The car pulls away and Tsukiko tells Tsukasa that she fails as a mother and should go after her daughters and show them that she loves them. Then Tsukiko apologizes for saying too much, but Tsukasa is fine with it. Instead, she takes little Yoto back into the house and dresses him up like a girl. Drunk now, she tells her story. But Tsukiko falls against Yoto before she can hear all of it and he wonders if she got drunk on just the smell of the alcohol. Tsukiko asks Yoto if he grew up pure as she requested and begins to unzip his track suit.
*
Tsukiko tells Yoto that there’s only one thing to do when a man’s clothes are taken off and knocks him to the floor. She snuggles under his jacket, telling him that he smells nice. Tsukiko calls Yoto “hers” and licks his neck. Although Yoto is a pervert, this really embarrasses him! She falls asleep like that, telling him that she hopes he doesn’t turn into a Hentai-san. Yoto tries to control himself while Tsukasa laughs at little Yoto in another outfit. I wonder if she really made those clothes for her daughter.
*
The kids have fallen asleep and Tsukiko wakes up first. She goes looking for Tsukasa and finds her coughing in another room. Tsukiko also sees a box of girl’s clothes beside Tsukasa as she continues to sew more. Tsukiko asks if she’s making the clothes for her daughters, but Tsukasa claims that she’s just killing time. Tsukiko asks her why she let her daughters go if she loves them that much. Tsukasa says that it wasn’t her intention, that it was only supposed to be for a little while, but it ended up being longer because of her health. However, when her in-laws wanted custody of the girls, she couldn’t give them up and things got messy.
*
Yoto is listening at the door now and hears Tsukiko almost call Tsukasa “mother”. Tsukiko assures Tsukasa that her daughters must still love her and that it isn’t too late to change things. But Tsukasa says that it is too late and that there’s no more time, and then she collapses. Yoto runs in to find the woman burning with fever and he can’t get her to wake up!

Episode 12 –

Tsukasa lies sick in bed and little Yoto tells how she could never get to Italy to see her daughters because of her physical condition. And because of her weakness, she caught an infection and doesn’t have much time left to her. Without her daughters around, little Yoto took it upon himself to try to make her a little bit happy and to see her smile. But the woman really needs her daughters with her.
*
The girls are leaving the hotel to return to Italy, but little Tsukiko wants to see her mother. Yoto makes it just in time to stop them and tells them that Tsukasa wants to see them. He tries to convince Tsukushi that Tsukasa still loves them and that she needs them, but although Tsukushi is on the brink of being convinced, they still have a plane to catch. When she turns to take her sister’s hand, Tsukiko is already in a taxi asking for her mommy. Yoto grabs Tsukushi’s hand and they go back to the house.
*
Little Yoto watches as Tsukasa calls for Tsukiko and Tsukushi and he wipes the tears flowing from her closed eyes. When the girls arrive, Tsukiko runs into the house, but Tsukushi hesitates, asking Yoto if it’s really okay for her to be there. Yoto suggests that the girls put on the clothes that their mother made for them before they go in to see her. Showing Tsukushi the clothes that Tsukasa made, Yoto tells her that it took a long time for Tsukasa to make all of those clothes, so she must have been thinking of them every day. This finally convinces Tsukushi to go see her mother, but she’s shocked at her condition when she enters Tsukasa’s room.
*
To help her get well, Tsukushi says that instead of going back to Italy, she will stay with Tsukasa and take care of her. But the silence of the others tells her what she already knows – her mother is dying. Tsukushi begins to cry as she lists her faults and vows that she will change if only her mother will get better. She isn’t ready to lose her mother yet and wants to make more memories with her. Little Yoto calls her a crybaby and says that he hates Tsukasa’s girls. Taking big Yoto’s earlier advice to help girls that cry, he tells Tsukushi that although he hates her, he loves Tsukasa more and will try to grant her wish.
*
Little Yoto tells everyone that the house has a Cat God and explains how it works. Yoto offers to give Tsukushi his memories of Tsukasa and makes his wish. Big Yoto now realizes why he doesn’t remember anything of Tsukasa, but he also ended up giving away all of his childhood memories. Tsukiko tells him that he’s wrong to have done this for them, that he shouldn’t have to give up all of his memories. She wants to help him now, but Yoto would rather Tsukushi keep his memories and instead tells Tsukiko that it’s time for them to return. However, Tsukiko refuses to cancel her wish.
*
Yoto cancels the wish instead and that puzzles Tsukiko because it was her wish. He apologizes to Tsukiko, telling her that it was really his wish to return to the past after all. After they’re gone, Tsukasa wakes up and the mother and her daughters are reunited. Little Yoto gets a hug as well and he says that when Tsukasa is better, they should all go to Italy together and that they should pray to the Cat God to make it happen, once they’re older.
*
Yoto and Tsukiko have returned to the present and Yoto finally understands everything now. Even now his memories still go to those that need them, per his wish. But that still upsets Tsukiko and she feels that it isn’t fair. He’s forgotten the night they had met in the playground when she was wearing the mask. She beats against Yoto’s chest and he apologizes to her again, hugging Tsukiko against him. Back at the house Tsukushi surprises them by greeting them in the same costume that her mother had worn. She tells them how important memories are and calls the four of them a family, which surprises Yoto. But she included him because he was always on their side. That makes Yoto happy and he’s happier still when Tsukushi says that she will convince her grandparents that they won’t be going back to Italy.
*
Later, Tsukiko is still upset over Yoto’s memories. She understands why he did what he did, but just can’t come to terms with it. But she doesn’t want to leave him now, because if she does, Yoto will lose all his current memories of her. Yoto doesn’t want that to happen either and says that he always wants to be by the side of the one that is most precious to him. Tsukiko basically tells him that actions speak louder than words! LOL So, Yoto takes her by the shoulders and gently kisses her. Aww!
*
A few days later, Yoto and all of his girlfriends go to the amusement park. Azusa still thinks she’s on a date with him, Tsukushi still thinks Yoto is really his younger brother, and Azusa confides to Tsukiko that she dreamed of her first kiss. That doesn’t go over too well with Tsukiko! And Ponta is still looking for his rabbit. But Tsukiko does manage to get Yoto alone on the ferris wheel, which was nice, but not very romantic from the way Yoto kept talking. And Yaji-san shows up, or is it the Cat God? Anyway, she scares Yoto and he falls on top of Tsukiko, knocking her down, and Tsukiko chooses that precise moment to bring up Azusa’s dream of getting her first kiss from Yoto. Her conclusion? Yoto will forever be a Hentai-san! LOL
*
And with that kind of title, what will the future hold for him? Especially since Yoto is determined to not make any girl cry. So, I would have to agree with Yoto, the future with the girl who lost her expressions and the boy who lost his memories may just be one great “big, sticky, hellish mess”! LOL This was a sweet little story and I enjoyed this anime very much. Although, I’d like to see Yoto get his memories back and Tsukiko get her expressions back, it ended on a good note. I thought it was funny that Tsukushi ended up with both Yoto’s memories and her sister’s expressions though. It was nice that they both cared about Tsukushi so much!
