I noticed that animes that are not made to be widescreen are stretched to be widescreen.
Could you give some examples? Also, are you watching on a widescreen?
yes my monitor is widescreen, I tried three animes I know is not widescreen Angelic Layer, Blue seed, & Neo Ranga and all three was stretched.
You can change the way it stretches by right clicking on the video and clicking “stretch is [whatever]”. Click it until it says “stretch is none”, then click that. That should show it in the correct aspect ratio.
I really think that the correct aspect ratio should be the default setting.
