Q. Wait, am I reading correctly that the rerelease of Persona 4 The Animation of Blu-ray has all the extras from the DVD release as well as dual audio? If so, THANK YOU Sentai!
A. Direct copy/paste from the shop: âExtras: Episode 1 Directorâs Cut & On Air Version; Japanese Commentaries; Person 4âs Mr. Experiment; A Brief lesson on Izanagi & Izanami; Japanese Commercials; Mr. Experiment Shorts (x5); Clean Opening Animation; Clean Closing Animationâ
Wonder if Sentai is going to pick this movie up?
Hard to say.
We donât even know if theyâll get the final âtrue endâ episode of P4 thatâs being released on the JP BDs
I donât know why they wouldnâtâŚthey paid for the license, so theyâd get it all.
Doesnât always work that way.
The license was signed before it aired, and the extra episode wasnât announced until the series was almost over.
Unless the license had a clause that included any future bonus DVD/BD only un-aired extra episodes, the license probably doesnât include those.
That means, theyâll have to license it seperately as a completely different license if they want to include it.
And that, is what weâre unsure of, since Sentai has yet to confirm whether they will include it or not.
But itâs not an OVA, the âextraâ episode is part of the series. it isnât like they were like âhey lets make a true ending episode,â they planned it before hand. The script for all this stuff is made before hand, not at the last minute.
Are you also questioning if Sentai has those extra 5 minutes of film that the blu-rays have that the DVDs wonât? If it was an OVA, then they wouldâve had to pick it up separate, but itâs not, itâs part of the series.
Donât forget, Sentai werenât able to get the K-On! shorts becase TBS wouldnât license them. Or the **Angel Beats ** after epilouge.
Yet they were able to get the **Samurai Girls **shorts and **The World God Only Knows **intro.
So it can go either way, but ultimately depends on the Japanese side if they say:
ITâS A GO!!! :woohoo:
And if you forget, this a full 20-30 minute episode, not some 5 minute short that doesnât really matter. This is an episode thatâs sort of important.
Important or not, if the license doesnât cover it, theyâll either skip it or have to have a new license drawn up if they want it (if theyâre allowed to have it in the first place).
We can assume all day long, the simple fact is, Sentai hasnât confirmed they have/donât have it.
And interestingly enough, P4 was one of the rare cases that they actually stated how many episodes it had in their PR.
Persona 4âs 10th BD, DVD to Include âTrue End Episodeâ
And look, are you also wondering âWill Sentai get the directorâs cut of episode 25?â This series as a crap load of extras added onto the blu-ray, so people will buy them instead of DVD. Yeah, that âtrue episodeâ is part of the series. You honesty thing that Sentai wouldnât get it? I would imagine a lot of pissed fans if they didnât.

Animated clip previously screened after Persona 4 The Animation -The Factor of Hope- film
The official website for the upcoming film Persona 3 the Movie began streaming a 15-second teaser video for the film on Thursday.
The same footage was previously shown at the end of the Persona 4 The Animation -The Factor of Hope- film to announce that the Persona 3 film project had been green-lit.
Although the above clip shows 2D-animated footage, the June announcement of a film project and the official website do not explicitly note that the film will be an anime.

1st indication that RPG-based project has more than 1 film in the works
On Saturday, Aniplex updated the official website for the Persona 3 film with a new key visual and the following words:
Persona 3 the Movie #1
2013 in theaters
This is the first indication that there may be more than one film, and the first announcement of the projectâs release schedule. Before Saturday, the website had simply read, âComing soon.â
The website is also showing the teaser that originally announced this adaptation of the Persona 3 role-playing game from Atlus. The teaser ran at the end of the Persona 4 The Animation -The Factor of Hope- compilation film in June.

Just give us an anime series.
I want to see more of JYB playing an emotionless messianic character who goes around fixing the problems of other people while revealing their darkest secrets to everyone whose problems he has already solved (pyramid scheme schadenfreude). Itâs like Clannad, but with less angst, less sappy emotion, less bastardization of baseball and fewer moeblobs. Also with more ârobotsâ and a far cooler âalternate worldâ.
They picked some lame art here for Kirijo. Shoulda gone with something from the Persona video game. Also concerning art, I donât remember the creepy old guy (who has a creepy relationship with the protagonist) having bloodshot eyes as he does in this art.
