HOUSTON, January 28, 2016 – Today, Anime Network announced the streaming release of Nurse Witch KOMUGI R. The series delivers a one-two “Komugi Punch” as aspiring idol, Kumogi Yoshida ends up (reluctantly) becoming a magical “Legendary Girl.” To top things off, she doesn’t become just any Legendary Girl – Kumogi’s encounter with a strange rabbit-like creature turns her into Magical Nurse in about 0.2 seconds!
The 12-episode TV series is a playful and refreshing take on the magical girl genre. Streaming is scheduled to begin on February 9th, with episodes released weekly every Tuesday at 3:30 PM EST in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Turkey, Scandinavia, Central America, and South America.
