Ooof, that awkward moment when I realize that I haven’t seen any of the shows on the poll.

Besides Juushinki Pandora and Black Clover, I don’t believe I’m watching any preexisting show that got a new season in Summer 2018?

You know it’s a weak Anime Season when my 2 favorite shows are the Harems (How not to Summon a Demon Lord, and Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs.) Granted I’ve enjoyed Holmes of Kyoto and AoT S3, but those 2 are the ones that have really stood out for me.

*Just a note that I’m still stuck on S2 of Overlord, When I saw that it was so obvious that Tuare was going to get kidnapped So I’m sort of in limbo on it, for right now

I’m a bit surprised that ANN is holding Planet With in such high regard. It didn’t seem like it had the trappings of a “Critical Darling” to me lol.

But I know why I wasn’t watching it: it started out with what could’ve been a fresh, original premise only to pivot back to the prosaic, leaving me with disappointment and the ennui of “I’ve seen this before”.

To give credit though, it seemed to do the “tell the story from both sides of the battle” well.
