I fell in love with the characters in this anime. Even the not-so-nice ones were well done. I also liked the blending in of a little of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. I really enjoyed watching this one!

not sure wha i am waching, but since i like it so far a story about a girl living with a dead goat-man as a magic teacher, it will probably go somewhere stupid and or not even complete and actual story.
well the OVA 3 episodes were good, now on to the 24 episodes to see what magic is learned, or if it is jsut a surreal Ghibli-looking anime with no real direction…
“I got a bad feeling about this.” ~ the real Han Solo
episode 1~12 gave a complete story that tied into the OVA episodes.
episode 13~24 didnt add much, just continued with a different story to try to tie up some lose ends, but once again left and open-ended story with no real conclusion.
seemed to flow like Spice & Wolf, and anyone who liked that might like this for pacing, looks, and feel…
some supporting characters didn’t get enough focus, felt they were just there for filler plot devices and not real people, though they had a real bearing on the direction of the story.
it was a nice little slice-of-life fantasy anti-hero story that was worth the full watch. with any luck it will have more to come int he future to develop fully the main characters.
