High quality animation is usually reserved for budget busting action scenes, but Neverland uses it for more terrifying sequences!

I finally started this one and did a bit of binging. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it has turned out to be, it’s the next “Made in Abyss/Land of the Lustrous” type show.

It is a bit weird to hear an 11 year old mention that he’s been working at a problem for several years though…is this a case for the old anime rule of “add 10 years to all stated character ages”?

Otherwise, this kid is putting Sheldon Cooper to shame in the child prodigy department :wink:

But one minor complaint so far: the CG animation in the early episodes, particularly ep 1, is really lacking.

Could someone explain how Norman’s wall climb trick worked? The physics of it seem screwy.

Also it was a bit weird to see him effortlessly climbing a tree when he slipped and fell doing it earlier.

I wonder how long before we start seeing memes of Episode 9 of The Promised Neverland involving the 45th POTUS? It’s totally tailored for 'em :wink: :+1:
