Manga’s 16th volume to bundle OVA on July 4
I know that the reason why TO-LOVE RU hasn’t been dubbed yet is because no one seems to want a dub. I know someone mentioned tis on Funimation.com when he talked to people at the Sentai Filmworks booth during Anime Boston 2016. They said if enough people wanted a dub, they consider a dub.
I know I want a dub, and I wish people would agree with me. It does seem like it might be a good seller. Lets petition Sentai Filmworks for a To Love Ru dub shall we? Who agrees with me?
I say, save that money and dub something newer and “better” - like Food Wars or Ushio & Tora.
While I enjoyed TLR enough to buy them for the shelf, I think it’s “freshness” is gone; that and episode length…and “inclusiveness”

Q. Is there a possibility of a dub for to love ru
A. It’s always a possibility, but not at the current time.
If we were talking a complete collection, there is always hope but a dub might be too far gone at this point.

does this site have the ova’s that take place between season 1 and 2? I tried starting season 2 but don’t understand what’s happening. If notcan anyone tell me where I might find them?
OK, in this case, The OVAs that take place between Season 1 & 2 (To Loveru -> Motto! To Loveru), were included in special editions of the manga in Japan, Specifically Volumes 13, 14, & 15.
In most cases, not all, these are particularly difficult for North American licensors to acquire as they are a sort of “Thank You” to the manga readers and the production committee usually likes to keep them Japan Only (there are exceptions)
If you want to see them you’ll more than likely have to darkside them, but please be warned, you do so at your own risk. It’s recommended that you use Ad Blocker Software and that your Anti-Virus solution is up to date before visiting any of those sites.
thanks for the quick reply, I’m going to probably suffer through and just watch season 2, I’ll just read episode descripstions for the ova’s
This tread is in error. Someone goofed.
To LoveRu Darkness 2 has 14 episodes + 3 OVAs
only 12 episodes have aired on VOD, and ANO only has 12 episodes also.
I posted the relevant link to wikipedia in the VOD reports thread so someone can scroll down, see the episode list, read the show synopsis for each episode to see that all 12 shown on VOD are exactly as numbered, and the 2 following, and then the 3 OVAs after that.
If Sentai got only 12 episodes and produced home video for such, how did nobody notice when they subtitles the “next episode” preview and not notice the show had not concluded?
I see the cover art only released for home video about a month ago, so PLEASE tell me someone actually checked this before Sentai sends out product to people that is incomplete?
Very strange the release date of TLRD2 episode 12 is listed as a finale, but is NOT the end of the show, and that was released over a year ago and not noticed by anyone?
Sentai Filmworks has To LoveRu Darkness 2nd, Eps 13 & 14 licensed and it is on the home video release.
However, The Anime Network doesn’t have streaming or OnDemand rights to those two episodes.
The “next episode” preview is as it appears on the 12th episode because it is the same on both the Home Video release as it is on the streaming.
The only way to see those two episodes (legally), at present, is to buy the DVD or Blu-ray release.
