Not all of the games I made are there (got too lazy to keep my site up to date), so there’s three I need to get around to uploading at some point.

Also, Spam Banana may not work on modern OSes (8-bit display modes are not really supported now a days) and Present Sweeper might not run, or require too many old versions of OS level stuff.

Because they were for events (competitions might be too strong of a word to use, as there were no actual prize), the sites I did some of them on have a blog feature, and I’ll link those:

All the games I made, besides the latest 3, are already on my site.

As far as making games, start doing what is fun, and start SMALL! Trying to do too big of a project will not help as you’re likely to give up. I’m sure the list has changed since I last saw it, but the suggestion for games to recreate was something like Tetris, Pac Man, and I forgot what else, but the suggested order would allow you to learn a few things, then the next game would add some more, and eventually, you could make your own game.

There’s a YouTube channel that might be interesting to watch call Extra Credits. If you have time, just poke around those, but most of the videos might be beyond what would be helpful to start with (and some are more open ended discussions about the industry itself)
