I also finally saw Star Trek Beyond. It was fun, IMO more fun than Into Darkness/ “Khan 2.0” :wink:

Bones had the “swagger” of the original TOS character in this one. The other characters not so much, but that was still fun. “New Kirk” reminds me of a Brendan Frasier character…gotta say I wish he’d retained his superpowers though lol.

I wonder why the scientist from the previous film wasn’t in this one. I’m also a bit surprised that the Chinese backers of this greenlit for the whole Sulu thing.

Although several characters were terribly miscast, we enjoyed this a lot. it’s work the price of admission to see Jared Leto’s Joker.

We were the only two left in the theater when the extra scenes came on. I really wonder about people sometimes, you’d really think some would be curious about these scenes.
