Greatly saddened to hear this. The World of Narue is a wonderful anime. It is a very original story and more people should see it and own it.

I’m not a fan of Dragonball, but he was an absolute legend. His series could be thanked for a lot of the first major anime popularity boom in the 90’s.

I didn’t start with Dragon Ball, too old for that, but my kids were deep into it and I came along for the ride. He made a LOT of people in this world laugh & smile. Not a bad thing to be remembered for.

I watched Dragon Ball after coming home from school. It was a fun part of my past and well into my adulthood. I spent a good amount of time drawing Toriyama’s characters as well. He inspired me. I hope he’s resting well and still drawing manga in the beyond.
