Been a long time since I’ve done a con. I see that anime detour still looks like it is breaking its tradition of hosting Carrie Savage. Tragic; “All good things…”

Tekko has shortened its name and has the best guest list that it has had in years. It’s no where near as glorious as it once was but it’s a heck of a lot better than the past few years. The only recent list to come close was the time that they had Travis Willingham, an actor whose anime fame is fading fast;FMA was a long time ago and it shows. I remember the glory days when cons had more guests than one could shake a stick at and had spectacle. Now they’re humdrum affairs with too much non-anime crap. Too many of my normal cons have had staff changes and the newbies have made really bone-headed decisions.

I’d say I’m having a “get off my lawn” moment but those days were just 2 years ago.

BTW, is Sentai having its traditional HI con panel?

Not this year.

Another con tradition broken??!

How long has it been since Sentai had a panel? Any date for the next Sentai panel?

Right now, the only ones for sure are Anime Expo and Otakon.
