As itās currently written, anyone who was willing to do the 2 for 1 special, could have used their āprotectedā character as the āturn-inā character, there by, negating anyone from actually being able to choose that character during the next round in which it was floating and free, and you could simply reclaim it that following round on May 14.
Just thought Iād throw that out there.
Still not going to risk any of my guys running awayā¦

It was my intention to plug the āProtectedā loophole, but somewhere between the initial planning and the transcribing of the rules for this round that part got overlooked. Thatās too badā¦ you could have used the loophole and still participated.

I greatly dislike inconsistancies and tend to have an excellent memory for such things, so āattention to detailā has become my middle name over the years.
Thatās actually what allowed me to win the TAN Q&A Christmas contest a few years ago, all the answers were in the forum itself.
Besides, using a loophole is cheating to me, and still doesnāt change the fact that I disliked the idea from the start, of having one or more of my choices possibly removed later just because you decided to throw a wrench in the rules, there by, negating Rule #3, just to try and keep participation going.
