Well, I did like Märchen Mädchen but it seems it suffered a similar fate to that of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The quality cratered due to production problems. This time, however, it was apparently due to the terrible financial practices of the production company, Hoods Entertainment. Things are so bad that it’s not even certain the last two episodes will be completed! However, that doesn’t diminish the luster of the main characters for me. Therefore, this week I claim Shizuka Tsuchimikado, from Märchen Mädchen:

I also need a rule clarification, since all the different Honey’s in Cutie Honey Universe are treated like separate characters this time (They even have different VA’s voicing them) would they be pickable? or do they all fall under Tonka’s pick of Cutey Honey? ( I would say that Honey Kisaragi would fall under Tonka’s Pick as off limits, but the others, well I’ll let you all make the call on it)

I’m not super familiar with Cutie Honey so I can’t personally get too into that show specifically, but the general rule would be that if the characters are capable of meeting face to face, then they are different characters. Although, that rule could do with further refinement, it should hopefully do for what you’re asking.

All right since they are technically just different versions of the character she can transform into I’m cool with them falling under Tonka’s pick, unless Newshawk has anything to say on the matter.

Yeah, since I haven’t seen Cutie Honey at all, I don’t know the full context of what her transformations do/mean, though I’m sure if they’re anything like some other transformations from other shows/comics/stuff they would be considered the same character. We can wait for Newshawk though. Maybe he’s seen it and can be more specific.

I have not seen Cutie Honey Universe yet (so many anime, so little time…) so I will reserve judgement until I have had a chance to catch up. (I just got into Darling in the FRANXX over the last two days, for example.) If there are different VAs doing the voices for the different iterations of Cutie Honeys, then it might be said that they could meet each other in the same universe. Still, I will have to see it. I will say that if I do rule that they are separate bishoujo for the purposes of the game, S5R has first dibs.
