Seems to me that Bloomberg might not quite have a handle on the NA anime market, reading this part of the article:

The anime company’s nine-season “Dragon Ball Z” TV series sells for $231, a big sum in the shrinking DVD market. The complete “Seinfeld” goes for $55.

"Because anime fans are collectors, Funimation has a growing DVD business..." "[Funimation] dubs an average 23 anime series a week out of its Texas studio"

On a side note, I wish they’d stop that. They’re going way too fast, too fast for this collector as the quality is suffering. I suppose that Funi should be getting better in their Broadcast Dubs as time goes by, but few have attained the bar set with one of their very first, Laughing Under the Clouds IMO :frowning:
