The series centers around the day to day lives of two main protagonists Hakumei and Mikochi as they encounter the many simple struggles of life. This type of anime is known as Iyashikei, which is a term used to describe a show with the purpose of healing. There are no major conflicts or intense drama, just delightful everyday activities. These types of stories usually go hand-in-hand with slice of life anime and are geared towards people who just want to sit down, relax and watch something soothing with gorgeous scenery.

Hakumei and Mikochi are two small girls who live together in a tiny house in the great big forest. In fact, their house is so tiny that it all fits inside just one tree! But that’s fine because Hakumei and Mikochi are only 3.5 inches tall, so their tree is as big to them as a skyscraper is to normal people! They’re not the only tiny people living in their community either, and when Hakumei and Mikochi aren’t out exploring, they like to spend their time visiting their neighbors, some of whom are other small folk like the inventor Sen and Konju the songstress, while others are beetles, squirrels and even a big scary owl who is definitely not friendly! For a whole new perspective on life, come look at the world from a different angle with HAKUMEI AND MIKOCHI!

Every time I see a cast list for a show with cute little girls, and it doesn’t include Hilary Haag, I die a little inside. 
But looks to be a solid cast list anyway. I’m looking forward to checking it out.

This is the first dub in a while that I’m looking forward to.
The Girl’s Last Tour dub was a bust thanks to my “Audiophile” cursed ears. I could hear the ( admittedly faint ) echo of the recording booth and if I closed my eyes I could see it. This dub doesn’t have that problem.

What was the last series she was cast in?
She was Lili in Girls In A Dungeon, so presumably she reprised that role in Sword Oratoria and Girls In A Hotspring 
Was there anything else recent?
She reprised her role as Taleetha Testorossa in Full Metal Panic! IV. That’s the latest dub she was in. Her paying job must be keeping her busy, because she really hasn’t been in a whole lot of new stuff lately. I miss her. I still think her best was Anna in GoDannar.
