HOUSTON, TX — June 12, 2023 — On July 4th weekend, HIDIVE marks its return to Anime Expo with plans for its largest fan experience to date. During the four-day weekend at North America’s largest annual anime convention, HIDIVE will showcase some of the most anticipated series from its 2023 summer and fall simulcast seasons line-ups. Fans will be treated to a range of experiences including screenings, interactive panels, photo ops and giveaways, including a record half dozen major premieres. HIDIVE kicks-off July 1 Opening Day of Anime Expo with premieres for three tops titles. Starting off is the world premiere of returning fall simulcast series The Eminence in Shadow 2nd Season, a first ever dual world premiere featuring separate English subtitled and dub screenings of Episode 1 on July 1 and July 4 respectively — each with their own post-screening Q&A sessions with guests from the Japanese and English dub casts. Next up is the North American premiere of the new action-fantasy series Helck from the summer simulcast season line-up. And closing out Day 1 as part of HIDIVE’s Industry Panel is the U.S. premiere of the new comedy-fantasy series Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero which is also part of the summer simulcast season line-up.
Days 2 and 3 feature the North American premieres of new simulcast series The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: from Villainess to Savior and Dark Gathering, respectively. And Day 4 is the previously mentioned world premiere dub screening of Episode 1 from The Eminence in Shadow 2nd Season. Plus, throughout the convention, fans are invited to experience HIDIVE’s new booth featuring multiple photos and daily promotional giveaways.
