Her hairstyle and face do look similar…
They probably have those aspects of the character design copyrighted .
Whoever wrote the laws in really did not allow for any kind of parody or tribute clause without the artist or estates permission . I think in the end it’s probably coming down to money . It does make you wonder how the adult industry over there gets away with parodies . Like are they paying to use Character and design elements with the companies allowing it even for the subject or is it something to do with cosplay ?
Still at least it’s not as bad as Pastel Memories or Mr. Osomatsu where a whole episode is gone .
