IMO this comic adaptation trend has gone too far as now they’re going for “quirkily serious” and it just doesn’t work for me. With successful properties like Gotham and even Spectre now trying to combine Nolan-style “super serious” with Burton-style quirky, I fear it’s here to stay for a while…at this rate, we’ll end up going back to the 60s Batman only the producers won’t intend it to be a spoof

Deadpool - Review
So this movie gives Deadpool the same basic motivation as Wolverine?
I wonder how this movie ties in with X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In that movie, Deadpool is shown to have survived 3 Mile Island but what about the crazy mutant powers he was given in that movie? In the Deadpool trailers, he doesn’t appear to be using them.
I’m still not sure how X-Men Origins ties in with Days of Future Past…X-men movies are just all over the place lol.

Captain America: Civil War - Review
I wonder if Michael Douglas will show up in Captain America 3. He gave Ant Man class IMO.
That IGN video about movies feeling crowded hit home for me as the trailers are leading me to believe that Captain America 3 will be as crowded as a “The Avengers” movie. Ant Man had only one other superhero, but CA3 looks like it has every super hero shown in action in the Marvel movie franchise.

Given Vision’s uber-power, I was wondering how the movie would explain how Vision didn’t just show up and end the Civil War before it could get started.

Marvel has officially announced that it’s joining forces with Netflix to create four live-action TV shows that will be available exclusively on the streaming service. Each will be based on a different hero: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. All four characters are based in New York City, and their separate shows will take place in the same universe around the Big Apple. Each show will consist of at least 13 episodes, and once they’re all done, they’ll culminate in a special mini-series titled The Defenders, where all four heroes will join forces.
Daredevil will be the first show out of the gate, arriving sometime in 2015. That means you won’t be able to watch all of them at once, which would have made for the most epic binge in streaming history.
Marvel recently got back the rights to Daredevil, following his disastrous big screen debut handled by rival Twentieth Century Fox.
