Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse / Schwarzes Marken

Should I be familiar with the lead actress in this? I’m drawing a blank on previous work w/o “cheating” and checking ANN

I’d like to call it being hopeful but facetious also fits lol.

E: Auten is back and, iirc, playing the icy Russian? Nice. I liked Doty for that old podcast she did but I’m not a huge fan of her as a dubber. Since she’s a funi actress it is nice to see crossover.

I’ll help

Thx.

No major roles in anything that I’ve seen dubbed so I’m okay with not knowing lol.

BTW, how long has this formatting bar for new posts been here on non-mobile?

Since the beginning.
Unless you’re talking about the minor changes to it, and those have been around for about week or two.

Those. Yes.

Have been posting from mobile.

Nice to see IS2 wasn’t just a fluke 1-shot deal.
I hope she’s back for good, though it’s kind of sad that it took until now to get her back.
There’s been a few past Sentai series dub roles that she would have been so perfect for.

It’s also rather interesting to see Christine back in Houston dubs.

The show features a cast of expats from around the world. So I have to ask: Why did only the Italian guy get an accent in the dub?

The premise of the US actually giving away part of Alaska to foreign countries who aren’t particularly friendly with the US still makes no sense to me.

Finished Part I. Dunno why Sentai didn’t release this all in one go but it wasn’t the bro thing to do as it is, no surprise, a cliffhanger.

I’m satisfied with my purchase: the dub is more enjoyable than the sub and the bluray is vastly superior to my experience streaming it.

Why the long wait between dubbing parts one and 2?

Which version is on the anime network website? I know in Japan, the version on television was edited, while the DVDs weren`t. Does anyone know if this website has the edited or DVD version of the show on here?

Since this series wasn’t a delaycast here and they posted the first half of the episodes in December, chances are, the version that’s on the online player is the DVD version.

Hey Sentai, could you do us a solid and get some different artwork than this for Collection 2?

Something doesn’t look right IMO with the character on the cover but, more importantly, if that “Not Final” text weren’t there there’d be a large empty space there. Kinda emphasizes the character and understates the title.

Prequel to Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse in production

Ultra-moe heads on more voluptuous-than-usual bodies. Still an unhappy medium IMO but this could be a fun watch, art aside IMO.
