You Need to Watch Altered Carbon (Spoiler-Free Review)
Sounds like grungy Demolition Man meets Xchange. It could be interesting, but it sounds like something I’ve seen before.
…I’ve noticed that streaming shows seem to really crank up the language and lasciviousness. I don’t know if that’s because of HBO or what but after The Ranch and Electric Dreams, I’m getting to the point of “so edgy it’s not edgy”.
If only this review had touched upon that. When I watched Electric Dreams with my bros, the unitentionally-hilarious, truly terribad yuri/sapphic scene in ep 1 had us in stitches, but it I would’ve appreciated knowing that it was there before watching.
