It says episode 8 isn’t going to air until June 7th.

If they were going to stream the recap special as episode 8, wouldn’t it be listed as airing on May 31st?

Now, this could change closer to the airdate of the recap, but as of right now, it looks like the recap episode is going to be skipped.

Actually it’s a technically 13 episode season, with the first episode being triple sized

I’m not talking about on HIDIVE, I’m talking about in Japan. With the compilation episode, outlets in Japan will fill 12 weeks. Also, I would estimate that Episode 1 would equal three episodes, making it a 14 episode season.

It’s only 11 eps, per Hidive, so equivalent to 13 eps

What I should have said was “making it equivalent to a 14 episode season.” Having the movie as the first episode and ten more following, the compilation episode fills it out to a standard 12 week season length. It’s only when and if the first episode is cut down to three episodes that it would become a 14 episode season.

Seriously, they had a legitimate complaint, considering the circumstances were similar to what happened to Akane in the series. It’s really disappointing that the toxic fandom basically proved their point. :sigh:
