The protagonist, Senji Touya, grew up being compared to his talented older brother and feels inferior because he is not talented at all. He has decided that studying is his last resort, and although he has enough academic ability to always rank within the top 100 in national mock exams, he is never satisfied.
One day, he witnesses his classmate , Haito Luo Buffet , a "Mawarimono " who gained talents from his past life through the "Branch of Reincarnation, " fighting a serial killer.

I had a feeling this because of one character and a symbol that had a small part was going to cause a stir. Still is but not for the reason I thought. The characters color palette was altered and the symbol changed. Which is having a lot of people crying censorship.
I get removing the symbol but the color palette swap is a bit much in my opinion. Though given how some reacted to someone using the colors for an outfit it’s probably a precaution. I’m just not sure if this is a Japan or Sentai choice at this point. If it’s Sentai it’s probably going to lose them some points with the online communities. Something I’m not sure they can afford to lose. Especially with them having a chance to get a hand up since Crunchyroll is really leaning towards a negative average with the way people are viewing them more and more.
