Well he will just have to be. I am supporting Dragon Ball ,but in all honesty I am not a fan of Z so it would be a waste of my $43.19. If they Dragon Box the first series then I will get those to ,but unlike some I don’t have high hopes of it happening so getting the current normal sets they are releasing.
Other thing is I’d end up buying all of them and really I’d rather put that much money towards UY or towards the rest of Yawara when ever AnimEigo releases the rest or FOTNS series from Discotek.

I’m not in the position to buy many DVDs right now (I have to figure out how to possibly pay for a new furnace for my house.) I did pick up some DVDs last week, however. They were at Big Lots and they were only $3.00 each! I bought five, and four of the five were Funimation titles that were dumped, I would guess. Here’s the list:

I spent too much money again. I finally went to Media Blasters anime store, and bought way more then I should have. Their store is really cool though, gata go back there again.

Sure . Nothing that interesting though. Didn’t see anyone important if that’s what you mean. They said their offices are still in New York, although their warehouse is right there behind the store.
They have a bunch of horror movie stuff on the side wall, very cool! It’s something you gata see. And they film independent movies in the back of the store, where they have some movie sets set up. I found that interesting. Oh and the two workers there were not only very nice, but they gave me a big discount. But the stuff was expensive to begin with, so… But yeah we were talking about a few anime titles. Which ones I;ve seen and they’ve seen and such. They were surprised I was into old school stuff, saying today most people only care about Naruto and Bleach. Kinda cool that the workers are into anime too ;).And one of them mentioned meeting the creator of the Outlanders manga and having him draw a picture and sign it, which I thought was cool (since that’s one of the DVD’s I wanted to buy…but I never have enough money) Oh and I don’t know how I manage to do it, but I always get into a conversation about the state of the industry. They said it was sad that it feels like it’s just them and Funimation left, doing cons and stuff still. There used to be so many more companies, and so much more to the indstury. Feels very empty now. They also said it was sad how the people at CPM lost their jobs, as they new many of them and they were all great people. Some of them had trouble finding new jobs, even back a few years ago when many were laid off.
And the store is really something else. More anime then you can name! It’s all set up very nicely. It’s like an otaku’s dream, as long as he doens’t mind paying an arm and a leg . Oh and they said maybe by Janurary or some time early next year the box set for Morhibito should be out. Can’t wait .
Oh and they have way too much I want to buy . I’ll have to go back.

When I was in New Jersey a few months back, I wanted to head there. Unfortunately, I just didn’t have the time to. If I’m ever back out that way, I will have to make it a priority.
