Skull Man is AMAZING! Lots of action. Lots of drama. Some mystery and intrigue thrown in. A bit of paranormal activity. Excellent video quality and excellent subs and translation. It’s an all around great release!
Also, as far as promoting it, I have to agree a bit. However, other than Funimation most of the R1’s don’t have much in way of their marketing budgets anymore. You don’t see ads for Media Blasters or Bandai very often either. Every once in a blue moon you will see one for Nozomi, but not too extensively.
Yeah I understand, and I know what you mean. But I do think they are missing an opportunity here. It could sell a little better if they take the risk and buy some online banners or something anything.
You could be right there. I also think since this is one of the few anime titles to actually make it to Best Buy shelves, that it could have benefited greatly from playing on VOD when the DVD bowed, instead of just online.

It did and they sold out in my Best Buy. :woohoo:
As a side note, most of Funi’s stuff had a layer of dust. A very thin layer, but it was there.
Never underestimate the power of a bloody cover! But most of the stores in my area sold out as well. Unfortunately, Best Buy takes much longer to restock niche titles like Anime and Sci-Fi now. It took my store two weeks to get more copies in.

Since it’s been lost somewhere in processing or stolen I order another copy of Dai-Guard Volume 6 elsewhere. At this point it was pre owned or box set but place I ordered it other then RS that I trust. It was either that or 38 box set. I still have volume 1-5 and they are not lost. I hope there isn’t any problem with this one. Funny thing is that it seems the replacement for a lost copy now lost. Like someone else said elsewhere and RS says I can’t do much till after 30 days except wait and scream.

I’ve not had any problems with USPS for a long time and trust them more then UPS. UPS I watched drive past my house three times one day. Then I check my tracking and notice something along the lines of address does not exist. Not the first time either. That and UPS all of the boxes I’ve gotten from them look like they had been run over or kicked around a lot. Expecting something from UPS today ,but since I don’t have a tracking number I am worried that they will once again say they can’t find my house and send it back.
I never had really the problems with USP as I have had with USPS. From stuff being stolen to stuff missing, tapes somehow erased, books telling you not to bend were bent, stuff being way late, stuff opened, stuff left out by the street. Just recently that UPS for some did that I am guessing because of snow. At least I hope it was that not a trend. I have a lot more problems with them then UPS. Just for some reason now having problems with UPS who decide not to deliver You’re Under Arrest: Full Throttle Collection 1 today because of EMERGENCY CONDITIONS BEYOND UPS’ CONTROL. I mean if there is problems with both I don’t what to do.
USPS has taken an entire week to deliver stuff to my house from RSI, while UPS takes at most 3 days.
Although from my college I could probably drive there and get my stuff in an 8 hour round trip Too bad they won’t deliver to my dorm though

Second attempt to get replacement for the missing Dai-Guard Volume 6 came today. No problems really except by the mail box again. I think the problem it’s post office in IA or wherever it is. I called was told well the shipment supposedly was consider a book or magazine and then are shipped last. Something is wrong there man.
