I’m pretty disappointed in Shiki so far. I still have a few episodes left in part 1. Depending on how those pan out will determine if and how quickly I purchase part 2.
I think you have to see the second half of the show to appreciate the whole thing. That’s where the plot really starts moving and the second half is where the show gets it’s horror genre tag from as well. I’d say stream it from Funimation’s website beforehand if you’re unsure on whether to buy the rest.

They have the buy The Secret World of Arrietty and one of the others get $8.00 off. Target has the same deal but their slipcovers were so damaged from them shoving them in to the acrylic security cases that are to small I had to pass. I think Target got a bunch of the Video Game ones and none of ones actually meant for Blu-rays with slipcovers. Plus all of the Studio Ghibli slipcovers are made of this foil that for some reason sheds easily compared to the other Disney released stuff. Also forgot to I ordered I had a $25.00 credit on my Amazon account so it came out better for me this way.
