SYNOPSIS: In a world where history took a different path, Japan has been isolated from the outside world by steam-powered robots that repel all invaders. Inside Japan, however, the people are divided into feuding and fighting feudal factions. Feisty Keiichiro Tokugawa dreams of changing this and unifying Japan, and he just may be the one man who can use the legendary giant robot Susanoo. Unfortunately, just touching a woman makes him break out in hives, and the Susanoo ALSO requires a female copilot. In VERY close quarters. And just to twist the katana, while there seem to be plenty of women who might covet the copilot’s seat, not all of them have his best interests at heart! Who can he trust? Kiriko the Ninja? Chiharu the fox-demon? Or will Keiichiro’s rash ambitions be thwarted by rashes and a totally rational phobia of the female form? It’s a giant robot show like no other as the birds, the bees, and the giant robots take flight in DAI SHOGUN!

SYNOPSIS: Seeking something unusual in a pet? A new companion to fill an empty space in your heart? Then come visit the strangest pet shop in Chinatown, where the mysterious Count D seems to know your every need and desire. But watch out-buying a pet is a contract for life, and when you buy from the Count, the pet you get may be the one you deserve rather than the one you want. Even if that rare rabbit does somehow look just like your lost child, perhaps you’d be safer buying a puppy from a different establishment. At least, that’s what Detective Orcott of the LAPD suspects, as nightmarish things have happened to many of the shop’s customers. And yet, evidence directly implicating the Count always comes up lacking. But then, who would know how to play the game of cat-and-mouse better than the master of the PET SHOP OF HORRORS?

Meanwhile Jamie worries that while Tokimune’s linkage rate has continued to climb, his ability to control himself seems in jeopardy. As the two sides repeatedly batter at each other in a heavy metal slugfest, it seems that the only winners in this war are the companies supplying military equipment to both sides. However, while Yosakoi has become a growing phenomenon with huge festivals held across Japan, it’s never been more than a blip on high school student Naru Sekia’s cultural radar. Not that much has ever really grabbed Naru’s attention. She’s average in grades, average in sports and in art… really, the only thing that has ever caught her fancy is reading fairy tales. Until the day she encounters her own personal “fairy”: Hana, an American exchange student who is determined to start a Yosakoi dancing club at their school. Entranced by Hana’s beauty and skill, Naru and her friends find themselves caught up in the whirlwind world of Yosakoi. SYNOPSIS: Some cities spend millions to draw in tourists, but a small town like Nagarekawa doesn’t have those resources. What it DOES have is Nanako, whose dream of becoming an idol singer is suddenly given life when she and fellow classmate Yukari are recruited by her uncle (who serves on the city council) to become local idols. That means performing at the openings of swimming pools and appearing on the smaller local TV stations, so it’s not the glamorous lifestyle one sees in the movies. But it is a way to help her city and neighbors while doing something she cares about. And when Nanako and Yukari are joined by a third classmate, the petite but athletic Yui, who takes on the task of appearing in costume as the town mascot, everything really comes together. They may not be on the road to fame and fortune, but there’s plenty of fun to be found ahead as they become LOCODOLS!

But, foolishly, a new high school, the Kisaragi Academy, was built in Heavenly Host’s place, and all true evil needs is an invitation. So when a group of students innocently perform a charm intended to bind them as friends forever, the nightmarish evil is unleashed once again. Transported into a living hell where Heavenly Host still stands and undead horrors stalk the bloodstained halls, the students are now the prey in the most brutal test ever designed by inhuman minds. What follows isn’t for the squeamish or weak of heart, as they are hunted down in a savage orgy of torture, murder, and insanity. SYNOPSIS: Having the incredible powers that come with being a Minimum Holder can be a huge advantage to a private detective firm like Hamatora, but how can anyone stop someone who can both come back from the dead AND steal your powers at the same time? That’s the problem that now confronts Murasaki and Hajime, and it’s made even more vexing by the fact that the team’s founder, Nice, may be dead as well. But while it may or may not have been Nice, Art is definitely killing himself for more than just Art’s sake and his goal seems to be to gather as many stolen powers as he can in order to rival Nice’s ability. However, the strength of a power isn’t all that matters, and a lesser ability can triumph over a greater one if used correctly. It’s Rock - Paper-Scissors but with super powers as Minimum Holder takes on Minimum Holder in RE: HAMATORA!

SYNOPSIS: Not every girl starts life as a baby inside a giant peach that was found floating in a river. But Momoko did. And most girls’ best friends aren’t Inugami the dog god, Sarugami the monkey god, and Kijigami the pheasant god. But that’s who’s been teaching Momoko how to use a sword and fight since she was little. With all this, one would expect that Momoko’s life is going to be an unusual one. So when an army of evil Oni starts rampaging through feudal Japan and a team of Heavenly-sent Celestial Goddesses arrives to stop them, is it any surprise that Momoko finds herself being recruited for an epic quest? Well, it is for Momoko, but for a champion of the Gods, she’s a bit slow on the uptake. When it comes to fighting, she’s peachy-keen and if there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that the bad guys are about to get totally creamed in MOMOKYUN SWORD!

Growing up, on the other hand, is something that she’s still trying to find the right recipe for. With the help of her best friends Kanna and Midori, Tamako’s determined to make the best of things, but it’s complicated. Especially when it comes to her relationship with her best BOY friend Mochizo, whose family runs a rival mochi shop. And lately, Midori’s been feeling a little odd about her feelings towards Tamako as well. And what’s up with that strange bird fluttering around, the one that speaks fluent Japanese? It’s all very overwhelming, but at least there’s one thing Tamako can count on: whether her day’s been good or bad, there’ll always be something wonderful at the end of every adventure when she takes a walk through TAMAKO MARKET!

Maybe:
Dai Shogun Complete Collection

Hamatora I’m still undecided on.

out of this batch, these are definite Yes-esessess :no_mouth:

Dia Shogun - where’s my crazy dub to go with this crazy show…arrrhhhhhh
Corpse Party - dub could have made this a cool “gateway” anime to all the torture porn/grindhorror/eli roth type fans…

Just Locodol for me and I’ll update the MIA thread when I get home.

(By the way 2 bonuses for Locodol. 1. It includes the episode 13 OVA and 2. It’ll be on 2 discs because 12 is the max BD unsubbed episode count for 1 BD disc)

Yes, I am disappointed as well, could’ve let the current directors let loose their “inner Foster” on this one. I wonder if the animation was cleaned up for BD.

I’ll pick this one up. I still haven’t looked into this Hamatora thing (promo art and RS compared it to something I didn’t like). Though now that the first part is out I guess I can check it out.

Righstuf links added to 2nd post.

Just the HaNaYaMaTa BD for me.
And since there’s currently a Sentai sale, I put my Nov-Jan order in, though it kinda makes me sad that totals only 3 releases.

I can relate :frowning:

:frowning:
I’m still waiting on some of those darn TBS BD holdbacks.
Not to mention, the poor Phi Brain S3 release that I’ve been rather worried about.

Home Video MIA Thread is updated:

Since Sentai seems to release titles in season order, Season 3 Collection 1 probably won’t be coming out until they release a Seasons 1-2 Complete Collection (assuming they’re still planning that.) I’d like to know where that is.

Maybe they did soo terrible sales wise, there’s no point in release new complete season sets when they may have boat loads of the half sets still in the warehouse. There’s a handful of shows that never got a complete season set.

Intrigue in the Bakumatsu
Tytania
Little Snow Fairy Sugar
Gintama
Eyeshield 21
Ghost Sweeper Mikami
Psychic Squad

Could be part low sales and/or license restrictions/deal…

Well I want it. If I have to buy the parts, I might be lucky to get price drops on them at least. I’ll have to wait a little longer before I can make any more purchases anyway so we’ll see.

This is another one that’s been on my mind. Seeing as though Amagami SS Season 1 complete collection came out as late as it did in November 2014, I started holding out hope for the rest but it’s fading now.
