The Fandom Post

Boy, now that we’re up to episode 20 this show is just losing me with all the characters it’s killing off… the loss of Volken had just about no point to it.

Yea, I lost track as to what exactly is going on a little after Volken left

I’m not even sure who good and bad anymore.

Yeah, this show doesn’t make a lot of sense. I thought that the arc back in the first volume with the “book eater” was going to be interesting, but then it was resolved in an extremely cliche manner (which didn’t even make sense) and concluded with the key players in that arc going out in a blaze of WTF.

Riddle me this, oh great pundits of anime  :

Why was the kid who could shoot lightning, the first kid absorbed by the book eater, able to “be himself” inside the book eater’s mind and retain his lightning powers while everyone else was impotent and made of drooping green mud?

Looks like a lot of Sentai stuff won catagories this year.

I generally don’t post cover art for re-releases, but the BD is new, so I’ll post the new cover art.

Awww, the Blu-ray got shafted with art :frowning:

The Hamyuts Maseta art scares me. Not in a “I just read a news article featuring Janet Yellen’s photo” way but it is similar.

I couldn’t have said it better myself. This show had such great potential. At first it seemed as if it could make it up there with some of the greats. The story seemed to go in the right direction. But, like so many before it, it was led astray. The ending was mediocre at best. At the end I can safely say it told a good story and was at least entertaining for the most part.

It appears the Blu-ray of this is gone. Only the DVD is on the Sentai Store
