Yeah, I don’t get the overly positive reviews on ANN for this one. It seemed a bit Cold for me. I get that it’s supposed to be a comedy and Satoko is actually a really awesome Ninja, or rather an extremely lucky one. Just don’t like the abuse dynamic between the 2 leads.
The abuse dynamic gives me a “Kill Me Baby” kind of vibe.
While it does feel quite a bit Kill Me, Baby, I absolutely LOVE Mikan’s acting in this one! I can’t recall her using a tone like the one she uses for Konoha!
Definitely gonna keep watching it!
