Because they know they can get people to buy the overpriced Special Edition that they have on sale. I think the only title that has gotten the âRegular Editionâ treatment from Aniplex of America is Demon Slayer, but not sure if they continued to do it after Funimation merged with CR, because I donât think either the swordsmith village arc or Hashira arc has gotten a regular release from CR
(By the way Iâm not counting the DVD only releases of Oreshura and Vividred Operation they released ages ago because that was the only option available)

I noticed a price drop on CR and might just buy the sets. Everything on Ebay is a bootleg. Nothing is on Mercari for FMA blurays.
