With a name like April, you might assume I’m the staffer who is going to choose some hippied out sentimental shows for my Thanksgiving recommendations. You know what? You’re right! Here goes nothing…
I’m thankful for the friendships in Anime. One nice aspect of the “gaggles of girls” or “dudefests” in certain types of series is how they underline the fact that no ONE friend can be everything to you. Each friend brings something special to the table. And in the end, usually friendship overcomes all. So what’s not to be thankful for?
