Just watched it, Yeah it’s pretty good, I’ll continue. Is it a case like Ranma where he can change back occasionally or is it permanent?
Semi-permanent. As Shriogane was the one who transformed Matsuri, only he can transform Matsuri back.
As episode 1 was exclusively the first manga chapter, that one usually has more pages to translate to the Anime edition.
Episode 2 faithfully translated chapters 2 and 3 of the manga.
If this pace continues, and the anime has a 12 episode run, we should have the first 3 manga volumes completely covered.
Volume 2 of the manga gets released in English at the beginning of February, and volume 3 won’t be out until April…
Meaning… The anime will finish before the uncensored manga translation will be released…

Broadcast for episodes 7 & beyond has not yet been revealed
If these episodes go by the same ratio as the first 4 do, 5 will be manga chapters 8 and 9, and 6 will be manga chapters 10 and 11!
Depending on what happens next, there’s a possibility episode 7 will air on April 3rd, and episode 8 will air on April 10th, if there’s no further delays. Following, episode 9 will be April 17th, and episode 10 will be April 24th.
I’m specifically mentioning this, as the English release date for the physical copies of Volume 3 is set for April 25th, so that means at least 2 episodes/ 4 manga chapters will happen in the anime before they’re released stateside in physical form.
There’s always the option to subscribe to the Viz manga app, so you can read it first, if you want to go that route, however.
Episode 5 spoilers!
A mostly faithful adaptation of chapters 8 and 9 of the manga, except a couple of moved around and filler scenes in Suzu’s family’s cafe. Plus, Shirogane undid his transformation as Matsuri’s hair while they were still in the cafe, instead of after they left Soga later in the evening.
Ayakashi Triangle 6 spoilers!
Full anime translation of manga chapters 10 and 11.
Matsuri trying to sneak away from the girls before they try to change for P.E., Yayo and Lu catching her, and Suzu and Matsuri’s flusteredness afterwards is full filler.
The random schoolgirls playing with Shirogane is filler, although, it can be said it’s implied from the events of the manga. (Very cute designs too!)
The entire trip to Lu’s house in the limo is filler, but again, implied in the manga.
A note. Matsuri’s nipples are fully submerged in the water in the anime, just as it was in the Shonen Jump version of the manga. And Suzu submerges herself fully in the water before talking to Matsuri. She sits down on a rock, with her feet in the water in the manga.
More implied filler of when Matsuri exorcises the ikon.
Another note. The first 2 pages and the top panels of chapter 12 make it into the ending of this episode as well.

Anime re-airs from episode 1
So, if the series restarts on the first week of July, the new episodes will air sometime in the middle of August, and the final episode will air right as the first Japanese Blu Ray set is released.
Reading volume 3, I think the anime will follow up through chapter 22, with a possibility of chapter 23.
Chapter 22 gives a really good send off point, as they defeat the evolved ikon, and Suzu says she’s gonna become the Ayakashi King in place of Shirogane, as he had almost all of his powers devoured by said ikon.
Chapter 23 would also work, as it’s a bit of aftermath from Suzu becoming the Ayakashi King, and they could have a final splash screen, where Suzu says something like. “I’ll develop my Ayakashi Medium powers stronger, to revert Matsuri into a guy!”
