This is turning out to be quite good.
Though I don’t think it’s quite on the level of Say “I love you”. to me, but still very good in its own respect.

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka Joins Blue Spring Ride Anime Cast

Tōma Kikuchi debuts in this week’s episode 11

The Blue Spring Ride (Ao Haru Ride) anime’s official website announced that Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sword Art Online, No Game, No Life) voiced Tōma Kikuchi, who debuted in the show’s eleventh episode on Monday. Kikuchi is a commuting high school student in the same year as the main characters.

Matsuoka joins the current cast of Maaya Uchida as Futaba Yoshioka, Yuuki Kaji as Kō Mabuchi, Mikako Komatsu as Shūko Murao, KENN as Aya Kominato, and Ai Kayano as Yūri Makita.

Blue Spring Ride revolves around Futaba, a girl who was in love with a boy named Kō Tanaka in middle school. However, after a misunderstanding, their relationship as friends ends when he transfers schools over summer vacation. In high school, her world is turned around once again when she meets Kō again, this time under the name of Kō Mabuchi.

The anime adaptation of Io Sakisaka’s shōjo manga began airing this July and is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. A live-action film adaptation of the manga is slated to open in December.

Ep. 11

I hope this ends with at least some resolution between Futaba & Mabuchi.
I kind of doubt it since it’s still ongoing, but it would nice if they at least did more than just hint at it, to end the series with some semblance closure incase we never get another season of this.
