When we lived in Oklahoma we had a house about 2 miles from the Arkansas River & the I40 Bridge over said river. One Sunday morning the entire house moved up then down. This was from a river barge hitting the supports for two of the bridge’s spans. Took them about 6 months to replace them, and this was with the full support of the State & the US Transportation Dept. Balitimore is many times larger than what we saw, so I would expect the repair time to be in Years.
Actually, for now, all the storms are going northwest of Tulsa. One tornado warned storm is headed almost directly for the bustling metropolis of Hogshooter, OK.
Because I can get that fourth wall meta nostalgic feeling as the real life tornado tears my home open in the middle of the movie adding to the effect of an already great movie. Dolby THX 4D
Was only able to get one picture to work with the phone looking through a welding lens towards the beginning of the eclipse. The other is just a sun halo.
The birds started flipping out too around the peak of it.
Actually I noticed something else just a short while ago. In the picture with the halo if you look at that white little spec off to the side that’s actually a reflection of the eclipse.
Camera lenses, if not properly treated, will have reflections from their internal elements. Used to see this a lot with cheap 35mm lenses. Not surprising that cell phone cameras would have the same problem.
