Maïne/Urano Motosu from Ascendance of a Bookworm
I’m not really sure how to spell Maïne’s name properly. Technically I think it should be “Maïne” because it’s European-ish, but the english publication of the Light Novel spells it “Myne” for the sole reason that people won’t actually know how to pronounce Maïne properly, and spelling it without the umlaut on the I would change the pronounciation to be more like the state of Maine, rather than like the word “mine”. Oh well, whatever.
This series is getting an anime adaptation at some point (October, apparently). I got the image above from the PV, but from what that PV showed, they want to cover a large chunk of the novel with the anime, so hopefully it ends up being at least two cours. Otherwise, I don’t know how good of an adaptation it’s going to be.
