It isn’t mandatory to make a claim each week, so even if you can’t think of a claim this week, it’s not as if you’ll be disqualified from the game. There’s no real set in stone inactivity time (probably should be), but you have anywhere from six months to a year to make a claim before you’re removed due to inactivity. You can withdraw yourself at any time if you really wish to, but there’s still plenty of series that nobody’s even touched yet.

Last week was a rare week–I missed making a claim. Multiple rounds of severe weather that spawned more tornado warnings than I’ve experienced in any other year since I’ve moved here to Oklahoma will do that to you.
