Just a Heads up, looks like Crunchyroll got hacked, if you have an account you might want to change your password, Use the “Forgot Password” to change it because it seems like they’ve locked down the Password change function in the account section due to the breach.
I suspect it’s a case of people reusing passwords. It may not even be CR who got hacked, but some other site. I happened to find the hacker’s tweet, and a password I saw on the list was cat123
However, one password had crunchyroll in it, so it could have been a bunch of people with malware on their system.
Crunchyroll really does not seem to have any advanced security set up either. Not even a basic 2FA. Heck not even a what was the name of your grandmothers cats first kitten. 2FA has its vulnerabilities but at least it’s something.
The normal change password function has been broken for a bit now.
