It’s a bit of a distraction as there are subtle differences in the art style (Shido is probably the most jarring, which is bad if it’s your main character.)

TV anime’s second season currently streaming on Funimation
I’m not sure what the plan for the dub of this one was but I don’t believe that it was the right one.
In either language I can’t say that I’m really enjoying this show. I went into it expecting a spoof/satire (a modern Nadesico, of sorts) but so far it hasn’t definitively been that.
The World God Only Knows not only had a less facepalm-inducing setup but it also established itself definitively by episode 2. This show hasn’t 
I just wonder why they went the movie route instead of making season 2 13 episodes instead of 10. Maybe they wanted the higher production values and a different studio to do it (AIC+ did season 1 and I think JC Staff did Season2)
and the translation said Movie Version which leads me to believe it’s a recap movie rather than a continuation.
