Just got my Omega Edition set today and after looking through the discs, I can confirm some things.
- As Vash & Chisel already mentioned, there are no song & sign subs for the English dub.
- All extras are included (source).
- The opening & ending credits are in Japanese and like with Ranma ½ & Sailor Moon, the translated credits are in the booklet and also for L’s Successors, the English credits for that are on the specials disc as an extra just like on the DVD.
- The clean sponsor cards are actually intact here. This is a surprise to me since they’re not in the DVDs at all.
- As Chisel mentioned about the episode titles, they’re not in English on the video except on the menus & sub tracks in their respective languages and also the “To Be Continued” & “Scenes From The Next Episode” messages are missing. Weird, I guess the English for those on the DVDs are either hardsubbed or maybe they used an international master for this release that didn’t have those cards in English?

But Netflix’s American/Canadian Live Action Adaptation will remain?
I don’t want to think of what might happen to some poor newbie who, hearing about the legendary anime, doesn’t know any better and watches the Netflix live action version by mistake.
On a side note, these expirations continue to be a major hang-up for me with streaming services. There one day, gone the next…will it return? Who knows.
