Hey everyone,
You guys may already know, but the English dub of DURARARA!! X 2 will be starting on Crunchyroll TOMORROW, March 10 in the US and Canada.
That’s right, now you won’t have to wait for the entire series to finish before being able to watch the English dub of DURARARA!! X 2!

Aniplex began streaming a “Mikado version” countdown video for Durarara!!×2 Shō on Thursday. The series will premiere on January 10 and stream on in North America on the Aniplex Channel, Hulu, and Crunchyroll.

Takahiro Omori is directing the anime at new studio Shuka with series composition by Noboru Takagi. Takahiro Kishida is designing the characters for the series, and Makoto Yoshimori is providing the music. Eri Yamazaki is designing the props, Hiromi Miyawaki is in charge of the color key, Norikazu Kamibayashi is serving as CG producer, Kazuhiko Seki is editing, Jin Tamura is in charge of photography, and the name of the animation’s production group will be Ikebukuro Dollars (the same as the first season). The main cast from the original anime is returning to reprise their roles.
OKAMOTO’S will perform the opening theme “Headhunt” and Three Lights Down Kings will perform the ending theme “Never Say Never.”
Durarara!!×2 adapts Ryohgo Narita’s original light novels and and is the sequel to 2010’s Durarara!! television anime. The series will premiere in January and stream on in North America on the Aniplex Channel, Hulu, and Crunchyroll.

The official site for Durarara!!x2 has announced details on a new OVA screening event that will be held at the end of the month at Sunshine Cinema in Ikebukuro. The event will screen a new version of the “My Heart is Like a Hot Pot” episode of the series that adds elements from another story from the 10th anniversary Durarara!! Gaiden short story collection as well as additional footage. Below is the promo for the episode screening.
The screening event will also feature bonuses for attendees in a new illustration card being given away at the screening and a new limited clear poster that is being given to people who pre-purchase tickets.

The event is scheduled to be attended by Toshiyuki Toyonaga, the voice actor for Mikado Ryugamine in the series as well as series director Takahiro Omori, who will be speaking prior to the screening of the episode. Moca-News has also posted new screenshots previewing the OVA.

Toshiyuki Toyonaga, Revalcy perform songs; Houko Kuwashima, KENN, Kikuko Inoue join July 4 anime
The official website for the Durarara!! anime franchise unveiled the theme song performers, more cast members, the premiere date, and a new key visual for Durarara!!×2 Ten — the second of three seasons for the Durarara!!×2 television series.
Mikado Ryūgamine’s voice actor Toshiyuki Toyonaga is not only singing the opening theme song “Day you laugh,” but also writing its lyrics and scoring its music. The relatively new twin vocal group Revalcy is performing the ending theme song “Exit.” The “Day you laugh” CD single will go on sale on August 12, while “Exit” will go on sale on August 5.
The new voice cast additions are:
• Houko Kuwashima as Kasane Kujiragi
• KENN as Eijirō Sharaku
• Hiromi Igarashi as Mikage Sharaku
• Taishi Murata as Hiroto Shijima
• Youji Ueda as Kisuke Adabashi

Durarara!!×2 Ten will premiere on July 4 on Tokyo MX and other channels. The original video anime episode “4.5” from the Durarara!!×2 Shō season debuted in theatrical screenings on Saturday.

The perfume line will include a total of 7 character themed products, but so far only the first 2 have been announced.

At its Anime Expo panel on Thursday, Aniplex of America revealed the release details for its release of Durarara!!×2 Shō.
Aniplex of America plans to release Durarara!!×2 Shō on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in two releases on September 29 (with episodes 1-6) and November 24 (with episodes 7-12 and the bonus 4.5 episode). Both the DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases will include Japanese and English audio with English and Spanish subtitles.
Both the Blu-ray Disc and the DVD for volume 1 will include the following: pre-broadcast cast talk show, a textless opening and ending, a 16-page booklet, illustration postcards, a package illustrated by character designer Takahiro Kishida, and clear cases with two-sided wraps. The Blu-ray Disc will retail for US$99.98 with a store price of US$79.98, and the DVD will retail for US$59.98 with a store price of US$49.98. The second volumes will retail for the same prices.
The second volume of the Blu-ray Disc and DVD will include: a 16-page booklet, illustration postcards, a package illustrated by character designer Takahiro Kishida, and clear cases with two-sided wraps.
