Flying Witch Manga About Teen Witch Gets TV Anime

Chihiro Ishizuka’s story of 15-year-old witch who moves to northern Japan

I’ve liked what I have seen of the managa, so this will be on my list to watch for. Here’s hoping that Aniplex & PonyCan are not anywhere to be found when the production announcements are made.

Please do not fall asleep while reading this column…

Well this was random.

Ep. 1:

Ah yes this broom will suit my needs. flies up in the air without a care in the world Can’t do it too much though. It hurts my butt.

I smell something. No, I haven’t lost my sense of direction but excuse me while I take a turn into this tall grass and pull out a squirming mandrake plant. This is my present to you Nao. :smirk:

People who hear the scream of the mandrake could die, she says, but the scream resounded throughout the entire town…I wonder if she thought that one through.

Can high schoolers buy beer in Japan? It seemed odd as Active Raid had the one character who couldn’t drink but was 17-18 and these folks seem to be only 15-16?

The show did seem oddly fun to me, and the main character really reminded me of something but I’m not sure what.

Very happy to see this. It just felt like it should be a Sentai title.
