However, when Sousuke’s mission to protect Chidori is terminated by Mithril, all seems to be in place for Amalgam’s plans… Like many of its fans know, it is based of the FMP novel “The End of Day by Day.”
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen this, but I just started re-watching FMP with my best friend as kind of a prep for her watching Fumoffu.
Though I was pretty sure she’d like Fumoffu, and thought she’s get a kick out out of it, to my surprise, she’s actually enjoying FMP as well, though we’re only 2 episodes into it currently.
A truly excellent show. One that I consider a modern day classic.
Lets hope it’s not ruined by Hollywood and Zack Effron.
Heres hoping for a new season, though I highly doubt it.
An excellent choice to share with someone! It has something to please everyone - serious with the just right touch of comedy. I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about it. And Fumoffu is just as great! I know she will appreciate both.
FMP/FMP Fumoffu are both favorite Anime shows of all time. One of those that will probably always be on there me with Slayers, Sailor Moon, Tenchi. I agree I wish there was more Anime too.
DANA only rivals one other sub for me, and that is Submarine 707R.
I would love to see both of them up against each other in a FMP/707 crossover…not that it will happen, but would be the anime equivalent of the Kelsey Grammar movie Down Periscope. B)
I blame that old NES game that I don’t remember the name of for my interests in subs.
FUMOFFU kind of scares me. Not the entire show, but the phrase itself. I was in shock each time that thing said it. It kind of made it FMP Sesame Street version and that thing was the muppet.
All the rest of the show was just gravy, but that thing scares me. I had nightmares about it. :S
Unlike the Sojitz titles this title was with ADV for a long time and I feel for now it should remain here. When Funimations sets come out then I will probably move it as it no longer supports the company that actually made it great. So for now it stays.
A fantastic series. I finally got my hands on series 3 a couple months ago and enjoyed every minute of it. The Heavy Metal collection is absolutely perfect for those that haven’t started collecting the boxsets yet.
