HIDIVE Heads Back to School with KAGINADO Season 2
HOUSTON, TX — March 29, 2022 — HIDIVE announced today that it will stream the second season of KAGINADO, the cameo-filled comedy series produced by LIDENFILMS (Love and Lies, Tokyo Revengers, Arslan Senki) that celebrates the work of Key, the prolific Osaka-based visual novel and game studio. The series will simulcast on HIDIVE in Spring 2022.
KAGINADO is back for another season full of the beloved characters from Key, the creative force behind CLANNAD, AIR, KANON, Little Busters!, Rewrite, planetarian and more! The second season of this mega-crossover series continues to reimagine chibi versions of Key’s fan-fav characters in a colorful school setting, where they hilariously examine (and lovingly poke fun at) everything from love and relationships to the very tropes that built the games they came from.
KAGINADO Season 2 is helmed by returning director Kazuya Sakamoto (episode director for CLANNAD, K-On! and KANON) with series composition and scriptwriting from season one alum Takashi Aoshima (Himouto! Umaru-Chan, No Game, No Life, Kakushigoto).
