HOUSTON, TX — May 16, 2024 — Shonen fans can look forward to a summer of sword fights starting this July. AMC Networks’ anime streaming service HIDIVE announced today that the new fantasy action adventure series I Parry Everything! (full title: I Parry Everything to Become the Greatest Adventure!) will stream exclusively as part of its Summer 2024 simulcast season. Based on the popular novels written by Nabeshiki, I Parry Everything! is the newest title in the slate of anime TV series acquired as part of Sentai Filmworks’ (Sentai) multi-year agreement with Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) revealed in March 2023. Ahead of the series’ July premiere, HIDIVE will host the North American premiere of I Parry Everything! Episodes 1 & 2 on July 4 at Anime Expo 2024 in Los Angeles, Calif.

The Kingdom of Clays faces a dire crisis: an assassination attempt has just been made on its own Princess Lynneburg, and now its neighboring countries eye the aftermath like starving vultures, plotting the Kingdom’s downfall. The ensuing conflict will shape the face of the continent for centuries to come…but Noor doesn’t have a clue about any of that! Having freshly arrived at the royal capital after over a decade of rigorous, isolated training at his mountain home, he’s dead set on achieving his childhood dream of becoming an adventurer, even if the only skills he possesses are useless ones. Sure, Noor can “parry” thousands of swords in the span of a single breath, but everybody knows you need more than that if you want to be an adventurer! Our hero’s road to making his dream come true will be long(?) and arduous(?)—but if there’s one thing Noor’s not afraid of, it’s some good ol’ fashioned hard work!

I Parry Everything! is adapted from the currently eight-volume-long Earth Star Novel series written by Nabeshiki and illustrated by Kawaguchi, which is based on the original 2019 web novel acquired by Earth Star Entertainment Separately, a manga series also written by Nabeshiki but illustrated by KRSG is published in Comic Earth Star. HOUSTON, TX — May 20, 2024 — Fans are in for an oversized summer of laughs with today’s announcement that AMC Network’s HIDIVE will stream the new comedy series Plus-Sized Elf as an exclusive simulcast during the anime streaming service’s Summer 2024 season. Premiering in July, Plus-Sized Elf is based on the pair of popular seinen manga titles created by Synecdoche.

Naoe-kun, a massage therapist, is about to head home for the day when he’s saddled with a rather strange patient. This lovely lady has emerald eyes, pointy ears, and grew up in the forest—everything about her screams “elf,” except for one thing: her bodacious body. It turns out she left her world but loves junk food in this one, and now her obsession has caught up with her. Can Naoe-kun help this loveable elf girl lose the weight—and keep it off?

Plus-Sized Elf is adapted from the original eight-volume-long (Plus-Sized Elf) and currently three-volume-long (Plus-Sized Elf: Second Helping!) manga titles created by Synecdoche which launched in December 2016 and October 2021, respectively. The current title is published in Dokodemo Young Champion by Akita Shoten. The English language versions of both titles are published by Seven Seas Entertainment. Plus-Sized Elf is directed by Toshikatsu Tokoro together with writing by Yuki Takabayashi and production by Elias.

Celebrating the world of cosplay, 2.5 Dimensional Seduction is not simply a romcom, it is also a serious teen drama about passionate teenagers and their endeavors overcoming both their worries and dilemmas to become the best cosplayers they can possibly be. Based on the widely read manga series by Yu Hashimoto, 2.5 Dimensional Seduction is now the latest addition to HIDIVE’s expanding line-up of simulcasts for its Summer 2024 season. Ririsa convinces Okumura to become her photographer—and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Ririsa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction is adapted from the currently 19-volume-long manga title created by Yu Hashimoto that launched in June 2019 and is serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+. HOUSTON, TX — June 4, 2024 — A truly labyrinthian adventure awaits fans this summer with today’s announcement that new fantasy comedy series Dungeon People will stream exclusively on HIDIVE starting in July. Based on the popular seinen manga by Futami Sui, Dungeon People joins the slate of Summer 2024 titles set to simulcast on AMC Network’s HIDIVE anime streaming service. Ahead of the series’ debut next month, HIDIVE will host the North American premiere of Dungeon People Episode 1 on July 6 at Anime Expo 2024 in Los Angeles, Calif.

“We’re excited to brings Dungeon People to fans this summer as part of HIDIVE’s exclusive simulcast line-up,” said John Ledford, President of HIDIVE. “This new fantasy comedy will entertain subscribers with a dungeon-delving world of adventure that they won’t want to miss!”

On the hunt for her missing father, master thief Clay heads off into an unexplored dungeon—but much to her surprise, the dungeon’s caretaker offers her a job! Thievery hasn’t worked for her thus far, so perhaps this new career path will take her closer to finding her dad. But change is never easy. From interviewing monster guardians to positioning traps to confound would-be explorers, Clay has a lot to learn about what it means to be one of the dungeon people.

Dungeon People is adapted from the manga title created by Futami Sui that launched in June 2020 and is currently serialized in Futabasha’s Web Action Comics. The English language version of the manga is published by Seven Seas Entertainment. Dungeon People is directed by Sayaka Yamai together with writing by Toshimitsu Takeuchi, character design by Yumi Nakayama and production by OLM. The series stars Sayaka Senbongi as Clay and Sayumi Suzushiro as Bell.

HOUSTON, TX — June 26, 2024 — Isekai fans received surprise news with HIDIVE’s announcement today that it has acquired the new fantasy adventure series Loner Life in Another World. Based on the popular isekai light novel and manga created Shoji Goji, Loner Life in Another World will stream exclusively on the anime streaming service from AMC Networks as part of its Fall 2024 simulcast season.

“We’re thrilled to reveal that the eagerly anticipated isekai series Loner Life in Another World will stream exclusively later this year as part of HIDIVE’s Fall 2024 simulcast season,” said John Ledford, President of HIDIVE. “We may have a special sneak peek for fans next week at Anime Expo 2024, so stay tuned!”

After getting isekai’d into another world with his entire high school class, “God” offers Haruka and his peers their choice of special powers so they can become fantasy heroes. But Haruka accidentally missed the power selection period, and now he’s stuck with the leftover abilities his classmates refused to take! Seemingly underpowered, he makes use of his unwanted skills to live a (surprisingly comfortable) life as a lone wolf…but his classmates soon learn their “superior” abilities aren’t as great as they’re cracked up to be, and Haruka may have to come to their rescue using ingenuity, creativity, and the leftover powers his classmates once snubbed.

Loner Life in Another World is adapted from the currently 14-volume-long light novel and 19-volume-long manga titles created by Shoji Goji and published by Overlap that launched in January 2018 and January 2019, respectively. The English language version of the manga is published by Seven Seas publishes the English language version of the light novel while Kaiten Books publishes the English language version of the manga. Loner Life in Another World is directed by Akio Kazumi and written by Kenta Ihara together with production by Hayabusa Film and Passione. LOS ANGELES — July 6, 2024 — Today at Anime Expo 2024, Iconic Events Releasing, in partnership with AMC Networks’ HIDIVE, revealed plans for a 30th anniversary theatrical release of the critically acclaimed, samurai period drama film NINJA SCROLL. Written and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, NINJA SCROLL was originally released in 1993 and is considered a truly seminal work in anime filmmaking.

The 30th anniversary theatrical release of NINJA SCROLL is part of Iconic Events Releasing’s 2024-2025 AX Cinema Nights series and will screen in over 500 U.S. theaters on September 11, 12 & 15 and be presented in both Japanese with English subtitles and English dub. AX Cinema Nights is a year-round movie event series celebrating the best new and classic anime films by bringing them to theaters across North America. It provides the passionate fan community with immersive and unforgettable experiences beyond the annual Anime Expo. Iconic Events Releasing will announce the remaining line-up of AX Cinema Nights later this summer.

Synopsis: Two supernatural forces appeared simultaneously on Earth: entrances to another dimension known as Mato, and Peaches, resources that give unique abilities to women.
